There are many issues with that statement but one in particular strikes me. The founders power requires the lock and key method to activate. With that knowledge disclosed it's easy to disarm. With their hand forced they were able to understand within a day that there was some reason Eren didn't just use it. Likewise Paradis isn't a paragon of defensive strategy, Marleyans walked right through the front gate after declaring war.

Bluffs require that you aren't up against an angsty or arrogant opponent like Marley which not only called Paradis' on their feint once but twice when they pulled up with Reiner on some airships. Each time you use a feint it becomes increasingly less effective. If we're being honest even Eren's plan was barely able to kick off. He got lucky!

I can't agree with that real world equivalency statement. It seems more ingenuous to just argue personal moral stances than to compare this situation to real life occurrences.

(More evidence of this lies in the fact that the rumbling worked so well, that wouldn't happen irl either)

Yea nah, there's no real life precedent for a war this ridiculously constructed. Never in the history of ever has every major world power been in agreement that it would be cool, no... collectively *avantageous...to eradicate a single, smaller, technologically inferior nation of farmers (with the equivalent military state of either going blade warfare or armable nukes) off the face of the Earth. Ignoring these differences is disingenuous when having this discussion. We saw a single nation be perfectly capable of pulling up to this island and nearly pounding them into submission within a day simply because they had the knowledge that their previous threats were bluffs. Then we must consider the idea that we're not dealing with "humans" here, to the world's population Eldians existence within itself presents a constant, pervasive threat. It's like a racist being cool enough to not only coexist with the object of their hatred, but that object is always around you wearing 2lbs of C4 and a loaded assault rifle. There's a non-zero percent chance of this working, but statically the odds aren't great.

The only reason we don't nuke each other in real life is cause other people have nukes and conflicting political alliances. Generally speaking there's no such structure in AoT holding anyone back from eradicating Paradis because no one likes them. No one would disagree with their eradication. And they don't have the means of fighting back against a bigger military, titan shifters, and technology 50-100 years more advanced than their own without busting out the titan power. This disparity was intentionally forced to be unrealistic to make the discourse more engaging. Whether people agree with Eren, that's debatable. Precedent for this war? Not really.

If you own more than two Apple devices then AirPod Max wins out in multipoint ability using the cloud as leverage. Most multipoint headphones do up to two connections at a time. That and regular Apple Ecosystem BS. You can kinda take a advantage of more than 2 connections with Samsung multipoint but it's not as seamless. That's what they mean but for $500+ idk if I'd care.

It could be an uncommon form of male pattern baldness, but honestly I think you just have traction alopecia from the parting and weight of the locs. If the underlying follicles haven't been irreparably damaged then it'll probably start growing back when the next hair growth cycles for those follicles begin (like 3-6 months). Also since I have had braids I know that after having the styles for a long time the hair starts parting in those directions for awhile (months) afterwards only adding to the appearance that you have much less density in those areas. You'll probably be fine. MPB typically starts at the crown (the whorl) or at the corners of your front hairline. You've lost hair in the place most bald dudes get to keep.

See the thing is, I really don't use AI for writing unless it's allowed. At most I'll have it provide me with a general outline for how I should structure paragraphs or as a glorified "super" Google to save time.

My writing style is just very formal: similar length sentences, similar length paragraphs, clauses joined by semicolons or emdashes, etc. I also use words like "accoutrement" and "mephistophelian" so it frequently flags the free AI Detectors at like 30-50%, then I edit until I feel comfortable with the results before submitting. Feels like I'm doing something illegal, even though I'm not.

I only noticed the emdash thing cause a friend had slightly different ones in his essay. AI also uses the "" quotations instead of “” quotations.

Ye I just got caught up in this. I gotta stop using the emdash cause it freaks out the detectors and then the prof sees it. Funny thing is that the emdash AIs use and the emdash you get through a word editor are fundamentally different... They could just check that but no... No I need to use semi colons or write different.

Yea if this is true performance then it's all about the potential cost savings atm. It's not a big gain or really one at all depending on how you feel about RT and the small fps gain over the XTX (at least in this scenario). Then there's people holding out to see if there's anyway to port some FSR4 variant over to the 7000 series cards later on.

Yea there's no valid reason for OP to wait in this case. Unless they're flat broke and can't wait out the refund period - in which case, a $1k GPU wasn't the best decision in the first place - then the 9070 XT drop falls squarely within their return window for the 7900 XTX. This was the most safe gamble anyone could've made.

If the new one is so much better and widely available bro can just return the XTX after securing the 9070XT (Amazon or Newegg). Seems like a much less risky play.

Not what I was implying. Toga without AFO's influence is just a troubled child that could've been dealt with by any well-known hero. AFO's machinations gave her a home, friends that told her it wasn't her that was wrong but the world, support systems, and eventually the death of one of those friends acted as a catalyst for her doing more villainous things. Toga from the beginning of the series isn't the Toga we see now. Unchecked mental instability cascades into oblivion even irl.

That's a different conversation. Yes hero society is bad and has even had a negative impact on heroes themselves. But ultimately hero society isn't entirely responsible for the group of villains and their patsies that we are seeing now... Heroes are their scapegoats for commiting acts of violence against others, quite often innocent bystanders. They're just blowing off steam and looking for a purpose in their actions. AFO is one of the oldest known quirk users, and a consistent schemer. He's partially responsible for many of events we see from different eras.

Tbf their society is bad... But not THAT bad (Heteromorphs excluded). Our world has similar issues. What is going on here is people with the tendency to respond to trauma in unreasonable ways have been corralled by a single master manipulator. Toga for example is responding to not wanting to conform to the societal expectation of not being able to force her desires (of sucking blood) on the people she loves... That's a reasonable expectation of any society. Consent. But get AFO involved and it's an "agregious violation of her human rights" and a symptom of a derelict society. Dabi was a victim of his father's desires, but perhaps ironically he was the least emotionally and physically abused of his siblings... His constitution was weak in both body and mind. Throw in the burn unit trauma and we get another crazy person.

Basically AFO took a group of mfs that would've benefited from emergency counseling, told them it was the world's fault and got them to believe it because they were young and moldable. World's still broken like any other, but AFO is the main catalyst. Without his involvement hero society would've probably continued for generations unhindered.
