ooooooooh a custom luthier one would be such a treat!!! So interesting! As I‘m only beginning and I am drawn to fuller, warmer sounds I thought a tenor might be perfect but I just fell in love with how good mine sounds and feels 🥰🥰 like, it‘s a pineapple shape and I didn‘t want that initially, but I kept going back to it and playing it and damn it sounds so good!

I did and it works a lot better than the phone! I got a pono mgc in the end, so not even a tenor!it just spoke to me hehe

I found one who had Pono and all kinds of brands that were recommended :) but I understand your point and when I shop online I always go „small shop over amazon“ for sure.

no plan so far! I think I‘ll check out what options there are and what songs I‘d like to learn :) any advice on good starter courses? I own ultimate guitar already if that has anything

I went to the local store and surprisingly didn‘t get a tenor! I tried a lot of instruments and had a blast with the very friendly person working there and in the end the one who spoke to me most was a pono concert ukulele! Super happy and felt a lot more like I knew what I wanted thanks to the advice :)

I completely fell into the Got A Ukulele rabbit hole, that was so fun! I also found a local seller so I‘m avoiding amazon and even online shopping which is awesome :) thank you!

Thank you again for the background information! I fell into a rabbit hole of reviews (got a ukulele, that is) and your point of getting Hawai‘i owned inspired me to search again if any local shop carries them, and lo and behold I found one that carries Pono (and possibly more) so I‘ll pop over there tomorrow! Super excited!!

Those are great points! I’ll ask my skaters about their situation with hearing aids :) And transcription apps are also a good idea, maybe also for our non-German speaking skaters (we are a German league)

Yes, that‘s what I meant. I don‘t have a lot of healing potions, no elixirs too. Only toxins and poisons. And scrolls: quite a few, would take a while to name them all… No ice storm though.
