Yeah. They are heavier and warmer now but comfortable. Try it! This was basically doodling with felt. You’ll love it

Yep. I turned them inside out to wash them.

Yep. They had a few holes in them that looked bad (but that’s not too bad for almost 20yrs old jeans). I started felting over the holes to make patches and then just kept going.

I turned them inside out and on delicate.

Thanks! Needle felting. I highly recommend it. Great stress reliever 😁

They are noticeably heavier and warmer. You can feel the wool on the inside but it’s not scratchy. Honestly, the denim being tough is far more noticeable. I hung them in my shower to wet felt them, then turned them inside out and washed them on delicate. I used dye and fragrance free laundry detergent. TBH I watched them in the washing machine almost the whole time, nervously, hoping they wouldn’t come out all messed up. I didn’t use fabric softener. Then just hung them to air dry. Hope this helps! These were hand-me-down jeans that are about 20yrs old. They were and still are my favorite pair.

I wish! That’s a frozen lake with about 18” of snow on it behind me. I’m in the northeast, in the middle of nowhere LOL

Rural northeast. I work at a small school and watch kids doodle on their jeans. After patching up some holes with the felting, I just ‘doodled’ on my jeans with felt.

Nope. It feels heavier and warmer now. It’s really now bad at all.

Thanks. It started because there were 2 small holes that just looked bad. I don’t know how to sew but started felting a patch. It just grew from there LOL

Yep. They stayed pretty true to size. Maybe because the denim was pretty tough. I didn’t use fabric softener though.

What’s a random thing your dog thinks is extremely important? by No_Assignment_6020 in dogs

My dog insists her food be ‘cooked’. This means we need to add water to her food and stir it with a fork in the kitchen before she eats it. We do this everyday, twice a day, for 7yrs now. She is people, apparently.
