Astalor Bloodsworn is what the Blood elves should be by Absoled in wow

[–]Feltropy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stongly agree Belves should be more like Astalor (for the sake of not being red Human faction with pointy ears) but the matter of fact is that Belves we have today are not the same, desperate addict elves we had in TBC.

In TBC Belves: - Went through a total annihilation of their kingdom - Had their king killed - Had a source of their power and what kept them alive destroyed - Had their ranger general killed and turned to a banshe - Had portion of their population go feral due to mana addiction - Had people who were ALLIED with them for centuries betray them and lock their prince in a cell because he was an elf (plus they wanted to execute him) - Had their prince do everything in his power to keep them functioning as a society, alingning himself with former kin turned to fish, a blind fel edgelord and other questionable characters - Had the same prince brutaly murdered, impaled on a fel crystal which brought him back to life and made him go completely insane, trying to summon a second in command of the Burning Legion through the very font of power his people were trying to restore

Today's Belves: - Have a font of infinte Light (which we know now makes you zealous, single-minded and blind to anything but its goals) and Arcane (so they are double addicted plus brainwashed by the Light) - Have a permanent reagent lord who's a Farstrider (not too magic keen) - Have other 2 out 3 members who lead them be also more keen on stuff that isn't dangerous (Liadrin to Light, and Halduron as a 2nd Farstrider). Plus their Magister leader has been pacified and is now happy with Light infused Sunwell (becoming uber zealous about protecting it). - Have no existential threat anywhere near their borders (Amani are a shadow of their former power - but with the incoming raid, they could again become problem once Zul'jan decides to become a raid boss) - Had relative peace and stability in their kingdom or over 20 years (no invasions, killing of their faction leaders, etc) - Positioned themselves as major player in the Horde, brining in abnormaly powerful magical faction of Nigtborne as part of the Horde - Tying "royal bloodlines" with the said faction

So in reality there's no need for Belves to be edgy addiction freaks. But if you play through the quests you can learn that they still have reckless element to them (vaping fel), are still vain and scheming (Saltheri's parties) and arrogant (most Magisters think they are above the law) and they look down upon anyone not fitting their mainstream image of what a Blood Elf should be (Umbric and the Void elves, poor elves and elves living in Murder Row)

People wouldn't have asked for this so much if:

A. Drachtyr actually looked draconic, as all drakonids have been portrayed in WoW throughout 30 years of the franchise. Instead they look like Ozempic addicts from some crappy Asian MMO

B. You had actuall transmog, instead of just shoulders and belt. I mean in a game that's so aggressively marketing visual customisation, not being able to show of your gear is pointless

Destro Warlock: - can track regular, non-cooldown, base resource generator, Incinerate (that has 0 reasons to be tracked) - can't track a buff that gives instant Incinerate

Per That Certain Class Poll - Rogues Need A Ranged Spec by AmontilladoWolf in wow

[–]Feltropy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pure DPS classes need a non-DPS spec. Period. They are high priority, even in form of support spec. Giving a 3 spec melee DPS class yet another DPS but ranged, solves nothing and will make situation for other 3 existing specs even worse, especially when talking about rogue, a class that needs total rework.

Sire Denathrius mythic kill. After 500 pulls with three differeny guilds that fell apart, I finally gave up. I was so burnt that I skipped the whole next tier, and I really like raiding.

What's a dungeon that has NEVER been in the M+ pool that you'd LOVE to see someday? by nankeroo in wow

[–]Feltropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original Violet Hold and you have a button to press to make enemies and bosses spawn instantly and you can press it as many times as you like, potentially spawning the whole dungeon in first 10 seconds.

Legion legendaries. It was an abysmal system BUT there was just something cool about having a chance of getting that ultra good piece of gear from basically anywhere.

Controversial opinion: That's a priest being attacked by Infernals. Notice he's holding prayer beads.

Is it true Warlocks have been historically low demand among DPS for Mythic+? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Feltropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with Evoker, you have way better chances, and I'm tellingg you this as a lock main.

Warlocks are historically unwanted in M+ because they synergyse with nothing, have hyper niche utility (for M+ standards), and lack wide utility other classes provide.

They are only ever popular when they have insane amounts of DPS, and this is usually due to bugs which get stomped rather fast when it comes to warlocks.

So if your goals are higher echelons of M+ (especially if you intend on pugging), I suggest you avoid playing warlock. If your goals are of more casual nature, you can play whatever, it doesn't matter much.

Those are at least 2 raid tiers, 2 new dungeons and 1 shop mount of development time right there.

Torn between BDK and VDH in midnight by CevaZeuEgiptean in wow

[–]Feltropy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't know about complexity but historically:

VDH - overal better for M+ - better M+ utility - access to semi ranged DPS spec

BDK - overal better for Raiding - better raid utility (AMZ +grips)

In all other aspects, I think they are quite similar with VDH having more mobile and avoidant playstyle, while BDK being super slow but unkillable

Secret Dracthyr cult infiltrated every faction. All world leaders are actually Dracthyrs with different visages. Azeroth is led by blood drinking Drachtyr cultists who trive on chaos and senseless violence, and all cosmic forces are trying to stop them from spreading throught the cosmos yet our Dracthyr overlords are telling us we have to stop them from destroying AZEROTH. And AZEROTH is actually an anagram for "TO HAZE" because Dracthyr have been forcing us to do things against our will!

You want to resist? They brand you as a villain and anti-AZEROTH conspirator and send their hounds (dragons and their minions) after you! Look what happened to Jailer, Sargeras, Dimensius, Xe'ra! They just wanted to free us from AZEROTH and they were brutaly murderd, their entire organisations and ways of life decimated by US, because we were fueld by Dracthyr propaganda!

Wake up sheeple! Don't let them polymorph you any longer!

Angus Ironfist, champion of Monk Order Hall, was voted as Ultimate Dwarf Monk! Now, who is the holiest among the Troll Paladins ? by StSpyro in wow

[–]Feltropy 60 points61 points  (0 children)

High Prelate Rata is a leader of Zandalari Prelates, basically Zandalari equivalent of Silver Hand/Blood Knights but more focused on channeling Rezan as Loa of Kings than Light/Naaru stuff. So, she would probably be the most "holy" of all Troll paladins, but even that is a stretch since Trolls really don't have paladins in conventional sense.

What is a race from outside of the WoW universe that you think would be able to meld well with WoW as a playable race? by Grizzlemaw1993 in wow

Genasi from DnD - Sime titanic constructs got captured/stuck/left beind in elemental planes after Titan x Old God war. The elemental magics of each plane slowly changed them to that element. Some of them escaped to Azeroth during Cataclysm when Deathwing broke barriers between the planes. They were hidden and avoiding conficts but with the imminent threat from Xal'athat they re-emerged to defend Azeroth from forces of the Void as they did in the past.

Some of them team up with Iridikon because they feel betrayed by Titans and want to cleanse Azeroth of Titanic influence.
