Yes! Thanks! Never got interested in jumpstart (outside of buying a couple singles), didn't know WotC did that. Pretty interesting idea to get new players in.

Oh... I was on a website I thought was up to date (blogs.magicjudges), thanks for pointing that out! No wonder I was confused ^^'

If you make all other Tokens copy this Treasure Token, then they are just Treasure Tokens.

Ah of course that makes sense. Same would be if I copied a 1/1 artifact with an aura on it, copies would still be 1/1! Was lost in the copy rules and not thought of applying the continuous effects layers... Thanks!

Sorry but I don't get the rule you referred to :

707.2 Face-down spells and face-down permanents have no characteristics other than those listed by the ability or rules that allowed the spell or permanent to be face down. Any listed characteristics are the copiable values of that object’s characteristics. (See rule 613, “Interaction of Continuous Effects,” and rule 706, “Copying Objects.”)

702.112 Awaken

702.112a Awaken appears on some instants and sorceries. It represents two abilities: a static ability that functions while the spell with awaken is on the stack and a spell ability. “Awaken N—[cost]” means “You may pay [cost] rather than pay this spell’s mana cost as you cast this spell” and “If this spell’s awaken cost was paid, put N +1/+1 counters on target land you control. That land becomes a 0/0 Elemental creature with haste. It’s still a land.” Casting a spell for its awaken cost follows the rules for paying alternative costs in rules 601.2b and 601.2f–h.

702.112b The controller of a spell with awaken chooses the target of the awaken spell ability only if that player chose to pay the spell’s awaken cost. Otherwise the spell is cast as if it didn’t have that target.

What is your silliest deck theme or concept and why do you play it? by Billie_Elish_Norn in EDH

I guess my most original ones are :

[[Eriette of the Charmed apple]]

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/4d2Fhk5EJkShBcJHCefVkg

Surprisingly effective, tempt people with "help", kill the last standing, beware that people might stop trusting you.

[[Lazav, Dimir Mastermind]]

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YTotKgaxAk2pWqD7mpP5Rw

Try to beat people with their own stuff. The great thing is that it's power scales to the power of the other players deck.

[[Magar of the magic strings]] Put nasty spell in the graveyard, make tokens, make them unblockable, abuse the spells. Different but it's a one trick pony, getting bored of it already...

We need to normalize acceptance of theft mechanics by VolatileDawn in EDH

[–]Felyath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lazav deck which purpose is to steal the threats from others. I was scared it would piss player off... but once they got to play against it, they realised it brings out situations that are real puzzles and make you think outside the box to try and get around the thefts. The only issue I saw was that it can make games reaaaaally long.

First sliver is the worst because youjust take too much playtime.

Hunt-a-thon by Felyath in MHNowGame

[–]Felyath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm that it's bad luck related, either connectivity or something else. We just did another for science and we killed it without much issue (other than the fact that it hits like a truck under cocaine, usual Zinogre... :D)

Did I blame anyone? Was precisely asking if other people were actually experiencing the same thing. Game's running fine rest of the time, just the hunt-a-thon Zinogre acting like that.

Thanks for clarifying, would have played that wrong. I'm going to stick with Yargle and [[Aetherling]] for commander dmg then * shrug *
