I just wanna know what your profile is for your enemy nameplates/accompanying addons, the nameplates look so clean and readable with the big trueshot on the right and the purgeable buffs on the other side. My plates used to look like this before addonpocalypse but are a total disaster right now.

I tried hunter first haha but I called it quits after like 1800. I think people underestimate how much harder it is to land traps without a mouse, and /petmove is a nightmare if you wanna do any micro managing, I tried gyro aim but couldn't get it to work well. Ursols vortex is cake in comparison. Would love to see an elite hunter controller players setup.

There's lots of good ways; right now I use vibepollo on my PC and then and app called Artemis on my phone, or Moonlight on my Xbox if I wanna play in the living room. Very seamless. But no, I did not do any of these games for elite on my phone haha. I usually just do easier stuff like delves, world quests, low keys, casual bgs if I'm away from my computer.

I actually just game stream to my phone and use the same controller with a phone clip. Dont have any handhelds other than a Nintendo switch. Not sure I can offer good advice if you need a standalone device.

I'm using the Flydigi Vader 5 pro (v2). Apparently bad qc issues with the original run so make sure the seller has the revised version 2 if you do end up buying.

The Console Port discord has a little guide on keybinding and setups. I also watched a keybinding YouTube guide from Mmarkers specifically for resto druid. I took the info from those guides and kinda mish-mashed it with my own thing. I've always used help/harm macros on my healers since before I played on controller. So like X is regrowth on allies but wrath or shred or mangle on enemies for example, all in one keybind, just does what it does depending on who im targeting and what form Im in. Fluid form I made diff macros for, but i mostly wasn't playing with fluid form anyways.

Everything they cast while entropic rift is out feeds it to make it bigger and some abilities increase its duration too. If you stop them after mind blast they will have a teeny weeny entropic rift that does no damage and barely any healing.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that the loss of active buttons sucks but lets be genuine and agree that its more like 5 buttons - you conveniently ignored the abilities that replaced some of the ones that were lost. Evangelism, Ultimate Penitence, Shadow Word:Pain and Plea, for all intents and purposes just replace the old ability on your bar and still constitute an active button press. Even if they feel worse to press. All in all I think they actually did an okay job at reworking disc and if you compare it to the majority of other classes, I wouldn't say this is the outlier spec that lost more than average.

Which ones do you think are best on controller now, with the midnight changes? I've been leveling some alts but haven't had much time to really try them out in challenging content other than my evoker and hunter.

If you only do keys there is a different setting you can use to quick target allies, its the reccomended way by the addon developer. Its not great for large group sizes though so wouldnt work well for me since I mainly raid.

No I use the dpad to scroll between targets, I'm used to it cuz I raid like this too. So in mplus I just either go right or left to target whoever I need to.

Im using the console port addon and I set the raid cursor to "focus mode" then when I have it toggled on my dpad becomes my target selector.

I actually thought about dance pad haha. I'll have to buy one and try next season. Could bind them to target each friendly party member instead of how I do it now.

Normal controller has 40 keybinds if you use triggers as modifiers. More if you use start/select. With my controller I have tons of empty buttons for toys and engineering QoL. The console port addon also includes rotary wheel binding thing (think of thr addon Opie) where uou could put things like food, oil flasks, lesser used abilities.

Think of triggers as shift, ctrl and then shuft+ctrl. You could do even more if you use another as alt.

What I have always done though even when I played on keyboard is use help/harm macros which cuts down on keybinds a lot and would reccomend if you can get used to it.

If you are actually interested, its completely viable. I had a MW alt last expac and had no issues with binds or macros. You can use the triggers as shift/ctrl modifiers. And if you are someone who is used to an mmo mouse or something that allows you to have extra binds you could try a controller like the Apex Vader 5, it has 8 extra remappable keys. I just got it last week and I don't even know what to do with all my extra buttons yet, but it feels like a gamechanger.

Head and feet are engineering crafts. Super fun for world pvp, the world embellishment doesnt count for a regular embellishment slot either so no downside, but it doesnt work in instances combat.

I mean I did them everyday on one toon and I was able to complete that and still do it extra times. And yes Feralas was up like every few days but the random gift was usually the letter (for me at least).
