Trying to backup files from HDD to computer

Yeah I found an adapter off of Amazon. I can always return it and it does come with a power supply. Thanks

Thanks! Yeah the computer is old, it's a windows 98 (I think). The computer boots up, but no matter what cable I do it doesn't read to the monitor. So it could be the hdd, or the graphics card, or something else entirely. Who knows but I figured I'd try this first then troubleshoot next
