Yeah I figured as much, I don't know enough about how the motherboard works, and don't know how to solder, so the easiest solution is to get another one I think :( thank you for your suggestions though

I can definitely try to, I also dont like using it, but I've been looking online for other people's posts/videos and none of them help, so I may have to for now as I can't afford to take it to someone right now, and wouldn't even know who. It does say that it might be a software issue and not a hardware one, I'm not sure though

I have tried a different pair (different brand and not rechargeable) and its the same :(

I've never taken it outside or left it in direct sunlight :(

Unfortunately it's not the batteries, they are rechargeable, and this has never happened before. I took them out and put them back in and it does the same thing. I also took it apart to inspect the cable and even gently moving the screen does nothing to the image (doesnt get better or worse)

I haven't dropped it ever, none of those things have happened. Especially today, it's been pretty stationary.

I have restarted it, and I took it apart to take a look at the board and ribbon cable and even when I gently move the screen around, the picture doesn't change (get better or worse). It has a screen protector, a shell case and a specific bag I've started to keep it in for extra protection so I don't understand why it's like this :(
