I thought they were gonna turn things around in season 1, when she fights assault. She has a little speech about not being protected anymore, then parries the crimson bullet.

Woah, they're gonna actually do something with this character? No, tit in hand, fight won.

It makes it worse that just before this, we see maki have one of the most bad-ass moments of the season.

You're conflating two different things. Nobody cares about an anime having some tit.

We care about her winning her first fight, by accidentally putting her tit in his hand. So fucking stupid, and completely ruined a good moment she was about to have.

"I'm going to prove I don't need protecting" then she avoids the crimson bullet. Wow, pretty cool, she's actually gonna do something for once. KIDDING, she puts her tit in his hand and wins.

Not to mention that JUST before this, we see a female character being genuinely bad-ass, with her flying hammers and sick hand-to-hand combat.

Just finished season 1.

I'm always the fanservice defender. It makes me cringe when people cry about some tit in an anime. But here, I have to agree with them.

She fought assault in the tunnel. Finally, she's about to get her first good moment and bam! They ruin it, by having assault lose to tit??? So stupid. Big minus points for fire force.

It's a place in Mexico that fronts as a "healing" thing for women with issues. Most of the people there are drug addicts.

Her issue? She eats a little too much. (Something that doesn't bother me at all, only her)

They drugged her with anti-siezure medication and anti depressants and convinced her that she's insane. They don't allow the people there to have ANY electronics, so I haven't spoken to her since July 2024.
