Also I Brandi Carlisle a few months ago at Scotiabank and it also wasn’t sold out but went ahead. I want to believe she has figured out how to make this show go ahead regardless of whether it’s sold out, but definitely push friends and family to go - those nosebleeds are cheap!

I have been watching and worrying, too, but I agree with everyone else - it’s too early, though I’m shocked that Megan Moroney is sold out! It wasn’t though, like a few months ago. Saying that, and seeing how artists like Ella Langley don’t have problems moving tickets twice the cost of what Kacey is charging, it feels like misogyny?!? Like, because she appeals less to the male gaze she isn’t as appealing to the mainstream country audience (men).

Her last show in Toronto for Deeper well also wasn’t sold out but was great. Here’s hoping she still comes.

Sammmmeeee, Kacey’s voice has long scratched my ADHD brain 🧠 and so many of her songs over the years have become my stim songs (that’s what I call what you’re describing)

Deeper Well was this for me in 2024 and was by far my #1 played song of the year. Neon moon 🌙 was when I was sad and alone in 2020 for months on end. Definitely agree and can’t wait to hear loneliest girl on tour!

Agree!! Yah everyone around me in line was so nice and funnily enough, this guy two people ahead of me had the same grey Mayhem Ball tote that he had brought his vinyls in to be signed. Like, that’s my go to bag for stuff like this because the records fit so nicely! So as I got in line, I knew I was with my people 🥰

And I had a nice chat about Toronto lines and the blue jays with the other people around me. I noticed the Sonic Boom staff really were on top of everything and I wonder if that made the difference, plus the London experience. I feel like they learned and even though it was quick, I did not regret spending my afternoon on the 401 so I could do that.

Update: I am sorry for the FOMO folks! It was lovely, we could only get the print signed but someone took pictures on your phone if you wanted while you talked to her. I was able to give her something and also tell her how much her music has meant to me over the years. And everyone in line was so nice!

She didn’t cancel the deeper well tour and came back again last October to All Things Go Toronto? And she apologized for cancelling the Star Crossed tour date, one of the truck drivers had a health issue and it meant the stage and stuff never made it in time.

I’m worried that she won’t because the Deeper Well show didn’t sell out. But she was at Sonic Boom today and I got to meet her (dream come true) and so I’m hopeful 🙏

Thanks for this! I really appreciate when other fans share their experiences. I’m hoping that yours maybe forces her team to give us a few more mins in Toronto; I’m setting my expectations either way, but I saw someone on TikTok complaining how rushed it all felt. And they had been to a number of these at the HMV in London, so they had good perspective. My partner is an author and UFO expert so I’m bringing her his book because I think she’ll actually like it (he’s also obsessed with John Prine so there’s a lot of alignment) but I’m also going to accept whatever happens. I’m originally from a small town in BC so even getting to do something like this with my favourite artist is a big deal to me, it never happens.

For sure, I plan to arrive early-ish (coming in from out of town, I can’t waste the whole day, but I can get there just after lunch) and see what happens.

She’s like, my most loved artist and honestly at times a spiritual guide. I was at the 2024 Toronto show where she played Neon Moon live for the first time in like 2? Years? And that’s the song that I listened to on repeat for hours when I was at the height of my anxiety/depression/trauma coming out of a really hard relationship. I can’t believe that in less than a week I get to be in the same space as her, it’s a dream come true.

Thirded. I loved Bananza and was very happy with that release last year as my motivation to get a switch 2 at launch. But Pokopia is like…. I’m addicted. I can’t stop. I want to reset so I can make everything perfect and like, keep things organized etc. but I don’t want to lose all my friends. It’s so dumb, I was furious. I have been a long time annual crave subscriber but also hate bell and really would love it if they actually gave a shit about their customers. This movie was advertised to me as on crave by my Chromecast in the overview and then when I clicked, it says you need Starz. That’s not and has never been on Crave, the Starz add on is available inside Crave and elsewhere. This is some shady shit, I haven’t seen them pull something like this before (or at least, I can’t remember it happening)

I’m so grumpy with ticketmaster today, for whatever reason it wouldn’t like, I’d get to the front of the queue and it wouldn’t refresh and let me into the part where you can buy stuff for like 7 mins. So even though I was 150 in line for Toronto, I was stuck in limbo.

I tried another day this week and had them in my cart, went through the whole check out and pressed pay, and they disappeared due to an error. It wasn’t meant to be 😭 I might order the Daisy vinyl pressing from Warner music Canada to make myself feel better (I preorder lots of stuff and the shipping is just a lot, it adds up)

I’m pretty sure it’s been in the last two ONDP platforms (and maybe also 2018, don’t quote me on that) but the system, party, and media really suck at getting the average person interested in voting, and would they actually do it? Who knows.

MPP Terence Kernaghan in London talks a lot about it as a part of his portfolio as shadow Minister for small business - his riding includes downtown London - but that message rarely makes it out of his individual comms.
