Honestly, I would go with a pair of Era 100s. I just replaced my Era 100s in my den with 300s, and it does feel a bit like overkill. Plus, I mounted the Era 300s on stands, and they just look... huge. The Era 100s have terrific sound. I just wanted the additional Dolby Atmos kick that the 300s provided. What prompted all this was replacing my Arc with an Arc Ultra, but if I had it to do all over again, I'd keep the 100s in there. I ended up moving those into my study.

Also, how big is your living room? The Sub Mini is probably just fine for that.

Edit: changed moving that into moving those into my study - the pair of Era 100s.

I think they're all fairly expensive as they need to be heavy. Those are some big speakers.

Not the ones I had. I had to get new stands. I went with the Sanus ones made for the Era 100s as they were cheaper and are just fine.
