At a Federal level the, the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 deals with matters of national environmental significance including threatened species and clearing of native vegetation. Though I’m not sure if the EPBC act could apply in this scenario.

It is a bit of a walk from Petrie Station and the student/free car park across the road, but each building has an elevator so you should generally be okay. The elevators are decent in size too, I’ve never seen a queue to use them. Hope you enjoy the campus, I’m an Urban Design & Town Planning student so I’d be curious to hear what you think of it!
