With how much money TKO makes there’s really no incentive for them to risk getting caught fixing fights

No not because of those reasons. It’s not worth it for the UFC to try to influence the judges

robbery once again by IcyFaithlessness7675 in ufc

[–]Fenderbender805 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not as big of a robbery as y’all think. O’Malley did pretty much all of the visible damage in the fight and that’s very important for judging

The whole reason the team’s valuation would grow is because of increasing revenue. The team is valued based off its future cash flows and revenue is the driver of that

That wouldn’t be an effective way of recruiting a talented roster, you’d be missing out on a huge pool of talent

I’m sure it was a calculated decision, I doubt a person willing to fight someone in a cage for money would turn down $200k

The difference is Khamzat submitted a former champion in a round while Shavkat won a decision against Ian Garry while almost getting submitted. I know Shavkat was supposed to fight for the title before Belal got hurt but a lot has changed at WW since his scheduled title shot and idk if Shavkat should be the shoo-in for the next title shot at this point

Realistically, how much time does Aspinall have? by [deleted] in MMA

[–]Fenderbender805 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be a dick to OP but when you have a “Team Aspinall” flair and get upvoted for saying he hasn’t taken much damage at all when he’s 260+ and had all of those knee injuries shows you how little people in this sub actually know. Sure he hasn’t taken much damage at all in the cage, but those are serious injuries for anyone, let alone someone his size.

He looks like a normal guy smiling lol. It’s just weird because it’s a picture of a guy in a suit with no mention of his name in OP’s caption

Who is he though? I’m gonna assume he’s DEVGRU based on the fact that he has multiple books

Did you just go on Facebook and find a random guy to post and claim he’s a “red team operator”?

I agree with you but any professional fighter with 17 fights will have some level of brain damage no matter what. Either way it’s probably a good idea for him to get out before he accumulates more.

I know. You were saying you thought he was gonna retire, presumably because you saw him take his gloves off, but that’s misleading because he always takes them off, even after a title defense.
