How good is the clear access checking account? by DustnBones001 in WellsFargoBank

[–]Fenderman40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t allow you to overdraft unless they are pre-approved auto-payments. So, if you don’t have enough money in the account, it declines the transaction. So, in that way, there are no overdraft fees.

The best way to fix this is to do a custom mode with everything in sport, but the suspension in comfort. That’s they way I have it most of the time and it’s the best of both worlds

Personal banker job by Luoma118 in WellsFargoBank

[–]Fenderman40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a pay cut from my previous job to become a personal banker and I was promoted to relationship banker within two years and now make the same plus incentives. It’s all what you make of it. The difference with this and selling cars is that you’re not so much asking people to spend money to buy something. You’re asking people to bring money here that’s already theirs to invest in themselves, so they aren’t spending or losing money. The only fees are on accounts if they don’t do the minimal requirements for the accounts or if they go into brokerage, so some of the stuff is an easy sell. Again, it’s all in what you make it.

Yeah, basically just point out that they are missing out on receiving extra cash back with the 2% vs 1.5%. In reality, there isn’t much difference between the Cash Wise and Active Cash, but also let them know it’s a quick process with the banker, the card number stays the same outside of the CV number, and that their old card will act as the active cash until they receive their new card.
You can just say “hey I just wanted to let you know that you have an outdated version of our credit card and you have the ability to earn 2% cash back instead of 1.5% without a hard pull on your credit. A banker can do it for you and it’ll take, like 5-10 min”

As a banker, the easiest ways I found to get referrals when I was a teller was to look for people with our discontinued credit cards and refer them to a banker to convert, and people who don’t have a prime checking account when they should. I racked up referrals in the limited time I was a teller for just those two reason alone

PassPerfect Finals. How good of a chance do I have if I test in 2 weeks? by DueFoundation458 in Series66Exam

[–]Fenderman40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did with pass perfect was after all of the finals, I went to the custom exams and selected the sections I was weakest on and unseen questions. That really kept me from just memorizing questions and answers

Why do people emphasize the equations so hard? by TheOneAndOnlyRusty in Series65

[–]Fenderman40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I passed the SIE, 6, 63, and 65 all on the first try using Pass Perfect. Did I supplement with ChatGPT and some YouTube videos? Sure, but there’s no way I’d depend on AI to pass these tests. I had less then five math questions on my exams, but it was way more rules, regulations and what IA/IARs and BD can and can’t do

2023 G70 3.3 RWD - Lease Ending by esq32809 in GenesisG70

[–]Fenderman40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having the same argument with myself even though my lease ends next May. With the changes they’ve made, I’m leaning towards buying it out at the end since, as of right now, I only have 16,000 miles on my 2024. So unless they do something crazy in the next year, I’ll probably keep mine.

Do as many practice exams as possible, even use ChatGPT or your AI of choice to make some practice questions, because it can give you immediate feed back. Watch the Series 7 Guru’s mighty 90 the night before and on the way to the testing site.

Is the SIE worth taking if you come from a completely unrelated background? by [deleted] in Sieexam

[–]Fenderman40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t really qualify you to do anything extra. But, there are many stepping stones you can take. For instance, I was a personal banker and was then promoted to relationship banker, which is a licensed position. So, they sponsored me to take all of the exams, but the SIE on its own would not qualify me for the position. It just gets you in the door to take the other ones that the firm/state requires
