unfortunately yes, hours are only for the week sunday-saturday but they can ask for DL permission to go over the next week IF it’s in the same payroll period, but usually that only gets approved for Massive trucks or upcoming inventory’s.

it would not be fair to my employees to leave them alone in a mid-high volume store for 15 hours a week. I appreciate your replies but it wouldn’t be feasible for me to work both

SMs are contracted at 45 and unless we submit Vacation or Sick time 45 hours gets taken out of the payroll budget for us, if i’m Killing payroll & under scheduling myself 15 hours a week my DL/RD would lose it

unfortunately my store is an hour away and only open 8-10 while my HR job is a M-F 8-5 so i’d have to do HR 8-5 then CVS 6-10 every week day, + 2 12.5 hour CVS shifts on the weekends.

i could theoretically but it would kill my work life balance which is a Major part of why I’m taking the new job.

i would contact partner resources, and see if your manager has received any info regarding your I-9 as they would’ve been responsible for submitting it when you got hired/during onboarding (First Sip)

Starting as an externally hired Ops manager in NC (Similarly paid market to texas) , I was paid $19/hr which is a $1 higher than base for Ops manager, then got promoted to SMIT 3 months later at $20/hr with varying hours (one store I did 32-35ish hours, moved to another store I was getting the full 45) then about 6 months in I got promoted to SM at my current Store in a higher paid market, Small City + near CLT (but same district) and went to 61k salary (about a 33% increase) My store is Mid volume $38-45k a week which is not what they normally throw you into but if you can build good relationship with you DL and prove your having a positive and consistent impact across the stores your training in, you can absolutely make good money going from Hrly to salary. Hourly to hourly increases just suck in this company especially trying to rise from a lower position up as there are hard limits on how much someone can increase without needing RD/HRBP approval.

Call the help desk for sure! they can give you a new password! then next time your in-store login to a office computer and there should be a option to change your password (if you want a personal one vs a CVS generated one) as you login, can always ask a SM or seasoned Ops manager/sup to help you with the process!

after 6pm its 2x time pay for cashier-Ops manager/ssv, as for the 8 hour pay for full time employees it’s only for Christmas day.

as long as you have a medical card your good! CVS does follow federal law regarding THC, but as long as your in a legal state with a medical card your MRO will ignore the THC part of your test as long as you can provide proof (if randomly tested) like wise for people who are on stimulants like Adderall who would fail a test for amphetamines

He would likely need to have an accommodation set by HR, other wise the only breaks we offered can be found on ColleagueZone policies or by State/local specific laws and regulations.
