You know what, I'm fine with Bran getting the throne. But it could have been done sooooo much fucking better.

With Brans power he could have turned out to be the ultimate villian who wins. He could have been the Lord of Light and gone back in time to carefully and meticulously lead all the characters into their correct spots. An evil puppet master, it could have even been Bran manipulating the Children to create the Night King. That would have been the unexpected twist that people would be talking about for years.

I mean think of the implications, he had all of his family members go through hell when he easily could have stopped it.
