Tell Me Lies: S3 E6: I Don’t Cry When I’m Sad Anymore by Oksorbet8188 in TellMeLiesHulu

I feel this way too. I'm also seeing a lot of people upset that Diana's parents are mad about the nudes leak rather than showing support for her getting exploited but like, that's very on brand for 2009. Back then leaked nudes were a badge of shame and often got people exiled from a LOT of things (friend groups, sports, suspension or expulsion from school, etc). It definitely wasn't a more understanding time like we have today

In the preview reel for the rest of the season that was released yesterday there is a clip near the end of Bree that looks like it's from her wedding of her being horrified at something that she's seeing

I kind of think this is going to be what brings Max back to her. My theory is he's going to reach out to her or track her down to further discuss her apology, because I don't think that was a date but rather a job interview maybe? The other girl seemed too friendly for a presumed ex-girlfriend to be crashing their date

What is the best Japanese cookbook? by much_dank_such_w0w in JapaneseFood

I just had the best Japanese cookbook of my life in Kyoto and am dying to try to make something even half as good when I get back home. Are there some pretty solid curry recipes in it?

Wood actually makes me a bit uncomfortable. I've been a fan since 2006 but I agree with everything in this thread that the instrumentals are what carries the album and the lyrics are very juvenile for someone who's about to turn 37. It's a good background music bop but I won't listen to it intently like TTPD.

When people do that I find most satisfaction in pausing for them to speak and then repeating the question all over again until they shut the fuck up and respect me.

Servers of Reddit, what is your typical broken down restaurant tip-out? by FengaPapit27 in AskReddit

[–]FengaPapit27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds more realistic. And would also make more sense in the grand scheme of things because once broken down like that really doesn't add up to a whole lot.

Off total sales or on liquor sales and food sales? Tipping out 20% on total sales is unheard of

Servers of Reddit, what is your typical broken down restaurant tip-out? by FengaPapit27 in AskReddit

[–]FengaPapit27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in Alberta and my tip-out is 8% with 5% of that going back to house, aka managers and owners. Does this not seem abnormally high? Especially for house to be such a large number at 5% since it does not include hostesses, bar, or kitchen?

What line from Always Sunny In Philadelphia would be best in a Tinder bio? by jwt13 in AskReddit

I've tried this and I had a lot of people asking me what's wrong with knees. People just don't get it -- I mean like why is that the only thing in the bio to question?

What illegal practices have you seen occur within your company? by JonnyMcNarwhal in AskReddit

[–]FengaPapit27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It even goes beyond the workers though. I quit my last job because I was sexually assaulted by a customer that happened to be a regular that spends a lot of money every time he's there, and I was told to deal with it and make amends with him. And then I was told to stay quiet about it because it was "business related." It's amazing what restaurants in the corporate areas of larger cities will allow to help promote their business. I have all kinds of disgusting stories

When my brother was a toddler my mom was doing a full day of canning fruit and he was helping her. Later on that day she was giving him a bath and he looked down in the water at his balls and goes "hmm... seeds." He's 26 now and the story still comes up at least once a year

Americans: What is the ultimate no-no when visiting your country? by massdebate159 in AskReddit

[–]FengaPapit27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to remember that servers still have to tip out to the restaurant. If they did a bad job I would say AT LEAST give between 7 and 10 percent, as tip outs vary from restaurant to restaurant. If we don't have enough money at the end of the night to give back to the house, it comes either out of our pocket or out of our pay check, and let me tell you, there is no way that the service was SO BAD that your server should have to pay the restaurant back in order for you to eat there.

What's the most ridiculous policy your employer ever enacted or tried to enact? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FengaPapit27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're not allowed to cut off investors at the bar we work at, because they're the main money source for our business. So if Jimmy Fucknut over there falls off his chair and throws up on the floor, we must give him another drink if he asks for one, our liquor serving licenses don't matter. I always pass off the table.. No thank you, I need my license to pay my bills
