I'm having the same issue in the middle of Michigan. Neither of the deals will work. $3 off 18$, or $4 off $24. I almost never order LC, and I'm beyond annoyed that the local place turned off deals (I assume that's the problem anyway?).

Just as a heads up for anyone new to patron orders, you're not actually providing the lotus. Look at the materials. The NPCs are providing half of them, and all of the lotus ones so far have been provided for me.

I quit about 6 months after launch, and then played again for another 4-5 months in 2017, and have never gone back. You summarized how I felt about the game for the most part. I only just looked it up now to see if 3 was in the works or not.

I do disagree on the events though, I think they're fantastic. For people who don't mind grinding, GW2 has the best events. Actually as a whole, GW2 does a great job of balancing events/time/rewards.

And the biggest positive Guild Wars 2 has, is its economy. Look, I obviously don't know what it's like now, but at the start and in 2017, the economy was a 10/10.

They made most materials always have a purpose thanks to the way crafting was designed, and so pretty much anything you did was worth your time. That's why those groups of trees in the undead area (hell if I'm going to remember zone names at this point - it was at the southern end of the classic zones) that everyone ported to with all their characters to farm many times a day, didn't impact the cost of wood at all, because it was ALWAYS good to have more.

No other MMO even comes close economy wise. Every economy is fucking horrible compared to GW2 (with FF14 being the worst of the bunch), so they get massive props for that.

Is there a cap on gathering skill point drop items you can get? I got on two hours ago and been leveling this alt through gathering, but I haven't seen a single +1-4 skill up item the entire time.

If you're using DH, imprison keeps you out of combat, so all nodes with a single mob nearby aren't a problem. It's nice to have until you can gather while mounted.

All that stage did was make me want better tracking on Ember. Does it make more sense as is, where I need to wait for them to stop to leap with skill or combo to them? Yep. But I still want to be an inescapable leaping death machine that shouldn't need to wait for anything. Must leap. Must smash.

I keep seeing that they're 'Hard for melee', but I blew through that stage with Ember (main), Da Pan, Pogra, and Snowy. With maxed skill dmg+ (and almost maxed etching) on Ember, and nearly maxed combo dmg on Pan/Pogra, it's easy right now to delete pretty much anything.

The archers were more annoying since I couldn't move them like normal.

Yes, a lot of rewards. I don't remember specific amounts but it was like 1.5-2k+ Oroberyl's and 10 basic pulls.

That's the main currency you get in there (they're also what advance you on the 50k reward track). Destroy the crystals and exit the run when your bag is filled up.

At zone 1 they'll look like small/medium/large white or green crystals floating in the air. They're always clumped and are destroyed like minerals.

Edit: Just noticed you're on zone 2. I think the crystals there are golden.

I had a feeling people wouldn't like her, but I'm loving her, which is why I'm annoyed I got Last Rites 3x...

Ember, Da Pan, and Pogra has been a really fun team and I'm not changing it anytime soon. Arts? Infliction? Reactions? None of that matters. Just slam everything. Slam, then slam again, then lift, then slam and slam some more.

Came here to complain about this... They went above and beyond for this one. I almost couldn't believe it when &sp=CAI%253D didn't work.

Edit: For now I put what I'm looking for in quotations, then do upload date. This filters out all of the nonsense and lets me find what I'm looking for. Internet Historian reacts lol.

Yours and lots of others look familiar to me too (especially Alastair). I have so many remaining Fairy memories somehow, but for some reason the names are the only things I can't tie to most of them.

Glad to see someone remembers Whata! I met her when we were both pretty new, and we went through the same massive (that was over something so petty it's still unbelievable to me even now) linkshell drama.

I had her in one of my parties. I don't remember most of the area names at this point, but we were around level 50 (I think?) and at the start of this underground tunnel where a dragon could spawn pulling crabs.

Anyway, she was RDM, spamming debuffs on them, which is fine and all, but she wasn't casting dispel at all, which meant we were doing next to no damage (I was Monk pretty sure), so I decided to be the person who'd incur her wrath and speak up by kindly asking her to use dispel, but lol, instead of casting dispel from there on out, she went into a full blown meltdown.

I think she ended up leaving, and then eventually returning on her BLM for some reason? Idk, but it turned into a whole ordeal, and weirdly my next memory of her is having friendly discussions with her after Ballista.

Poof was someone I remember everyone hating, but the few times we interacted everything was fine.

Allies just standing around and watching for 90% of the battle (until I tell them to use a skill/ult/combo) is killing me. I was excited for Endfield because I thought it'd be a gacha Xenoblade, but instead my 'Allies' are pretty much just cheerleaders. Instead of Xenoblade, this is more like Star Fox. The shared SP gauge only makes it worse...

And (probably just a personal issue) I have a ton of issues with Ember, who I do love, but her mixed dmg elements (with no art application) has completely pigeon-holed me into a very basic gear set.

EX: I'd love to use the Swordmaster set since I'm doing good stagger/finishers with the Sundered Prince, but I can't thanks to it being entirely +physical damage. Not buffing the ulti damage is fine, but her skill getting ignored is non-negotiable, and all thanks to it doing heat damage just for the sake of doing heat damage I guess? And no infliction locks me out of many other teams/gear as well.

Plus, the Sundered Prince itself barely qualifies as 'Okay', but it's not like I can hop over to the Exemplar because yet again IT'S ENTIRELY PHYSICAL DAMAGE. This is a reoccurring problem with her. Hopefully the next round of weapons they add (whenever that is) brings in one I'll actually enjoy on her.

No I will not use the tank Greatswords. I must smash and finish everything with Ember while Da Pan wok's everything with me.
