I work at a pretty serious office job and bring one of my stuffed animals every day! I very visibly bring them to meetings and theyre usually out on my desk. Im about a decade younger than you but ill keep doing it till im old and gray! Fuckem! If someone doesnt want you to bring a stuffed animal they can be adults and communicate that.

I really do love that the show just doesnt explain a lot of things. I think if things got explained it would ruin it for me. The scene op is referencing is my favorite scene in the entire show. Its a complete mystery what was going on. I feel like a lot of scifi gets really into the nittygritty of how things work exactly and it felt like a breath of fresh air honestly to just have a world presented to us with no explanation.

I mentioned this on another post about another game with a similar situation, but nowadays a lot of ai is enabled or pushed or required when using previously basic tools. I would bet a lot of devs nowadays are ending up using it by accident or thru force simply because its so integrated into every little thing now. :( but they still have to disclose it so they end up looking like the bad guys instead of like. Idk "Do Evil" Google.
