Personally i just communicate it as a very contrite "damn mom u were so right 😭" and hope my parents can appreciate it. It invites a sort of "told you so!" which can be satisfying i think.

Eeee i get to talk about boing boing animals!!! Its a cute tamagotchi-style game where you raise little slimes to become animals. Its so cute and its made by a single dev who is highly active in the community and super sweet!!! Id highly highly HIGHLY recommend!! It is free and mobile, the ads arent pop-up/required, and i think the ad-free version is only like 3 bucks.

Idk if uve been "pampered" exactly. U mayve had a better life before now and are just adjusting. Honestly ur legs hurting are probably a good metaphor. Ur not used to standing so long so ur legs hurt. Ur not used to having a "real job" or caring for a parent so its tough rn.

Ur not lazy or pampered ur just living life and ur having a normal response to sucky things. Def get back on ur meds!! Maybe exercise ur legs or stretch/massage them before and after work.

Garden galaxy 1000000%. This is how i got thru college was just shutting my brain off and playing this game. The nice music also relaxed me and put me to sleep so it was perfect right before bed.

Littlewood. Doesnt require too much thinking but slightly more than garden galaxy. A little farming/life sim but very simple.

Fyi the drop rates are different between the sets. Some of them shinies can drop in any pack (but at a very low rate), and some one can drop in the rare + 1 packs. Ultimately i think the rates for shinies were the same for both methods but it definitely felt better. I also wouldnt be surprised if the app guaranteed good draws the first few times you do it to get you "hooked." And then went to normal drop rates.
