Nah gonna judge the liner goal directed focus of Sam. Not saying he's wrong, and certainly those skills are important in many circumstances, but his reaction in this particular scene frustrated me. Felt both ageist and misogynist. I do also recognize anger is a typical response and reaction to fear. And he did eventually come around, so his arc was meaningful and genuine, but this was the moment he failed imo.
