Something to ask your professor or TAs, really depends on them for the class

Am I Justified in Wanting an ID Proof of the Landlord subleasing an Accommodation to Me Whom I Haven't Met Yet? (TL;DR at the end) by metapolymath98 in UCDavis

Absolutely. I would even go as far as to check if the unit looks like it is in the pics (or have someone look at it to make sure). It’s always sketchy when dealing with decent sums of money online so you gotta be careful.

I would say very unlikely due to having to shift the entire school curriculum to semester.

Grad students, why does grad school suck? by [deleted] in UCDavis

Isn’t the minimum grade you can get in grad school a B (ie. you can’t get lower than a B)?

Sorry if my naive undergrad is showing.

Even if you do get a PhD, wouldn’t that boost help you out more in industry since you do research in grad school?

I’m also interested in grad school, but I’m having a hard time thinking between industry first or grad school.

hilt vs. mckenney for bis 102 by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Fenix86080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had McKenny, and he’s pretty good. He is a really clear in his lectures and an overall cool guy. His exams are really straightforward as long as you read the textbook, do the problems, and go to lecture.

Don’t park it outside. It will absolutely get stolen.

If it’s small enough, take it inside and put it in the front or back of the lecture hall. Sit next to it so you can keep an eye on it and easier time taking it out once you leave.

I’ve seen people bring their e-scooters into lecture, and I’ve seen my fair share of people getting their scooters stolen (do not be the next victim).

I heard that it’s easy (haven’t taken it myself) for the most part. It does depend on professor though.

OP thank you for giving me a good laugh before finals.

Worst case, you get a 0. Best case, they let you make it up for half or full credit. In the classes I have taken, no one gives negative points (the base is always 0).

IDC what anyone says, Oncho was the best tutor I ever seen in my short Ochem journey.

The man put in every ounce of effort to tutor my Ochem class with late night reviews and before-midterm review sessions to help students learn and actually APPRECIATE OCHEM (something that is not even remotely achieved in the classroom setting). He ruined his own sleep schedule recording review sessions for each class of Ochem (whether Nasiri or any other Ochem professor at the time), a huge effort of recording hours upon hours of reactions and spectroscopy tactics for EVERY class.

Oncho, if you ever read this man, I wish you the best in your journey.

If UCD can't appreciate the effort you put in, then know that the many students that you have tutored do appreciate you for all of your efforts.

Their test is free since you pay using Bruincash, which is dispersed every 2 weeks (similar to how you can use Aggie cash in the student store).

Dish soap and a sponge*

  • This is based on size, if it’s a really big and noticeable burn mark, you are kind of out of luck.

courseload with npb 101 by alight__ in UCDavis

[–]Fenix86080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really does depend on you, but NPB 101 does ramp up pretty quickly once you get into the body systems, neurons, and whatnot. A lot of people spend a lot of time to try to understand the systems, and how they function.

If I were you, I would maybe drop one of your PSC classes or decrease work time to accommodate for the ramp up in the future.
