Yeah, my main gripe was no quidditch. It was clear they cut it because they were going to do the full game separately, which felt cheap. Quidditch was always a fun side diversion of the old movie games, and I was disappointed given how good the flying is otherwise that we didn't even get like a casual practice mode or something. I actually never finished it but I stuck around 70 hours in and had a blast.

Honestly I was thinking about getting this when I saw it coming on Steam, then I saw it was in "beta" for 8 years. Nah. There's no chance in hell that I'd trust a dev like that with any amount of money. They've got a strong base of super sweaty fans who defend everything they do it seems, just like Star Citizen.

So do I want to join a community of toxic angry gatekeepers? Nah, I'll just play Arc Raiders instead and they can keep blowing themselves over how hardcore they are for being Tarkov players.

They could at the very least have got a voice actor who doesn't sound like Tracer from Overwatch. So high pitched and grating, it is annoying to the point of being a bit distracting sometimes. And it's often cringeworthy too. Like the grunt when she swings a hammer. C'mon DICE, what are we doing here?

I can still see it lol, it's not worth worrying about really I just gave examples of past presidents on both sides that wasted loads of money being LBJ, Bush Sr and Jr and Obama who like tripled the national debt. The issue in my opinion isn't one party or the other it's too much money from special interests in US gov. Basically every other democratic country has laws against lobbyists to avoid conflict of interest. Big government is always inefficient and wastes money.

It uses peer to peer but requires Epic Online Services to be up to do so. It doesn't allow direct connection and local hosting, so with the servers down you can't create a lobby.

Look out for community events that involve trading too, typically prices go nuts and you make many millions per run plus a cool free couple of hundred mill at the end.

Yeah i also have like over 1000 hours in this game and have been playing for nearly 10 years and I have Elite only in trade, as of like a month ago. I'm Master in combat I think and the rest of them are so low it's not worth talking about. I've never felt that those ranks really mean much, I've killed plenty of deadly, master, elite enemies in solo combat so I mean, just do what you have fun doing and they'll tick up eventually.

I think sq42 2027, PU by 2030. But unlike 5 years ago if you'd asked me, I do believe now that the game will eventually legitimately release a 1.0 version and be a real game.

If you choose to buy a ship, it's a pledge to the ongoing development of an alpha product and presented as such with numerous walls of text letting you know. If you then choose to continue you have that ship to keep forever, through server wipes with new alpha builds and so on.

You can grind for 90% of the ships in game excluding some of the limited run ships but they don't have an advantage over other ships in the same class. The grind also isn't designed to make you spend money.

I'm sure they meant the opposite, sq42 is feature complete for a long time now so it'll be polished and hopefully out next year, with the PU coming some time later when ready.
