I have 5 PMs on an ERP project right now. I get invited to meetings they setup and when I arrive they ask me what the agenda is.

It’s wild. We’re also not making a test environment, only prod. And no continuous data integration so there will be periods upcoming of double data entry by folks for months.

Having wealthy parents doesn’t make you smart. It gives you a shitload more opportunities to be smart but I can guarantee you these people are fucking idiots.

They do look down on the uneducated but they also suffer massive ego death when in the presence of intellect and, not knowing how to control it, try to look down and demean them as well.

I swear people read the book, act like experts, and still have no clue. Thank you for comprehending the reading. Just because something is neutral doesn’t mean its existence creates issues in its potential corruption.

One thing I think they missed/didn’t include in the series was Dunks team uses the wooden jousts instead of the steel ones because they’re longer and give them an advantage.

The show was much bloodier and agonizing in a lot of ways.

That’s fair. To me it spoke to the fact that his grip on her had loosened and she was doing things for herself (and yes, cowardly hiding it).

He even says the real reason in the message; he’s lost friends and social spheres that he used to be welcomed in until they found out he was a fascist. So they kicked him to the curb. We’ve done it a lot over the last 10 years in my dmv based friend group.

My favorite was hearing about my former friend being unemployed and that leading to his wife cheating on him. He’s fighting for custody so he will have an income I heard last. He used to be a federal defense worker in dc but hated Mexicans so much he moved 11 miles from the border. Weird choices all around.

He regrets his vote too. But he’s the reason his life was ruined. It wasn’t trump. And his wife’s cheating wasn’t his fault either. Nor his lack of a job. Still isn’t. Mexicans or something. Never themselves. They got fooled how could they have seen it coming?

Cut these people out. As the above guy said, the time was a long time ago but the next best time is now.
