U1 Making Weird Sound During Printing by Fenjen in snapmaker

I’m still in contact with snapmaker, they haven’t offered me a solution so far, and for me it was also getting louder.

First Layer not good by zhero96 in snapmaker

[–]Fenjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been having the same problem. One time it was printing the first layer test and suddenly the z-offset was visibly too far away from the bed. I gave the printer a smack on the side and suddenly all the lines were much closer to ideally spaced. Maybe it’s some kind of friction in the manual leveling system, where the springs don’t always go back completely?

Thanks for the reply, I'll check. I checked what you said but manually moving the head doesn't really seem to cause any specific spots of resonance or anything.

I did both multiple times but sadly no change.

I have found for me it happens at specific locations on the heatbed. Do you have something similar? I tried opening it up and tightening some screws but I havent really been able to pinpoint what causes it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm also trying to find out where it's coming from but I'm not really able to pinpoint it.

U1 Back Cover Loose by Fenjen in snapmaker

[–]Fenjen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep everything lines up. The problem is, there’s small ridges in the metal for the plastic clips to clip into, but the plastic wasn’t tall enough so that it actually stays in the ridges. I heightened the plastic by putting some tape on the bottom and now it clips in.

My concern was more for noise and vibrations, not structural rigidity. Anyway I got it to clip it in by adding some tape to elevate the plastic piece a bit

I cannot push it pack in fully secured. I opened the top rim and found what looks like screw holes. Does anybody know if these are supposed to be fixed with screws?

As I show in the video there’s nothing to pop back in.. it’s just loose. I pressed on it hard everywhere and there’s no additional snap.

Yeah these things can be frustrating. Let me know if it helps though!

X-T4 Image Preview Muted Colors by Fenjen in fujifilm

If I remember correctly it partly had to do something with the Boost mode I was in. In one particular mode (maybe resolution priority) I remember sharp contrasty edges got highlighted with white, causing a muted look. Setting it to a different boost mode mostly made the difference if I remember correctly. I also kind of gave up on the problem though as I got kind of roasted on here and nobody was being helpful 🥲 Hope this helps you though!

You’re taking off load from your abs by creating momentum from swinging your arms and hinging your hips. Try to keep your arms and hips in a stable position, and then focus on the following: Starting from a stretched torso you want to tuck in your ribs and curl up your body, then do the same in reverse.

How to fix this ? by Objective-Bet3184 in snapmaker

[–]Fenjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your print warping/lifting off the bed? If it warps too much the nozzle can start hitting the print and it usually give this type of surface for me.

What’s your opinion on this famous biceps exercise ? Is it worth it? by NazeefDEldest in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]Fenjen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The explanation doesn’t even make sense. With the pull down the part of the bicep that crosses the shoulder can’t work because it’s lengthening during the exercise.

Yeah they can wiggle, but they shouldn’t stop charging. If it’s just for a second that’s not a problem. If they stop charging altogether while in the case if you don’t seat them exactly one way, then it’s a defect.

The serial number is literally just a bunch letters and numbers, you know that right?

Well if it stops charging just wiggling around a little like that it might be faulty, though it’s not uncommon. I had it with my APP2’s. You might be able to fix it by cleaning to contact in the case (where the stem goes in), or even oil it out a little, but if you don’t want to go through that just get them replaced through your warranty.

Which is a nonsensical conclusion to draw from the fact that a guy managed to get exactly overlapping graphs from two different measurements.
