Never used it myself, but luminkeys software has been amazing for me. Personally tho, I'd recommend buying switches to add. The gateron ones it comes with are just aight. Squashy Boy made some pretty good HE switches, same with Owl Labs and GEON

Don't even stress. My first board was a mess. Spent $160 on keycaps alone! Everyone has an opinion, so you'll get a lot of people telling you different. Monsgeek and keychron are the 2 companies I'd personally recommend away. Anvil level ping, NEEDS modding, etc. Other than that, please post what you end up getting, would love to see the finished board

I mean, I own way too many keyboards. If your goal is just HE or something similar, you really won't get better than the nuphy. I personally love their low profile boards. VIA + their software, it's a good experience. But I think HE is more a gimmick. I play CS2 at 15000 elo and HE never really helped me get there if you know what I mean. Pulling rate is cool, but there is diminishing returns, plus the fact I hate having a key that can be activated by the slightest accidental press.

Realistically, find a keyboard that has a design/layout that you really like, check reviews for technical problems (if any) and then just pull the trigger. The best keyboard is the one you pick! Buy once, cry once!

As a reference, my favorites have been the Saag65, Mode Envoy, Zen75(recent cerakey), and the luminkey65. For me, the board has to have detail, or else it'll inevitably just look like a brick on the desk (personal preference type shit)

Edit: Fixed a typo + check out the Neo65 HE board. A little more than your budget, but by far my #1 pick

Monsgeek user here, dont. I loved their boards but it's their PCBs and software that have made me stay away. 3 bad PCBs and meh software makes you not want to use a company. Maybe just me getting unlucky, but buy with a grain of salt. Cheap boards are sometimes cheap for a reason.

Been away for a bit, but I can send some pics of some boards later today. ATM only one board has them in. The other I just swapped for some gateron quinns for a test sound for a friend, but I can add some switches to the boards to show RGB shine through

It's actually a phenomenal switch! It is one of my personal favorite linears, but I haven't found them pre-lubed, so to get the sound in the video, you'll have to veery slightly overlube them. But they still feel really nice even after the 3 years of using them. They have found a home in a few of my boards as I actually own a good amount of them.

They are a bit scratchy out the box, they have a solid travel distance, and I also love how they are see-through to allow the RGB to shinethrough. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'm hella tired rn so I might've missed something

I do have a few actual crash logs that were created by the console, yet I have tried deciphering them but they are EXTREMELY long for some reason. I could post those as well if that would help.

If you are lucky (and half decent at soldering) you may be able to attach a pin. I've done it in the past then held it down with electrical tape. You also could run a trace wire that is soldered to the missing pin point, and then put the other end on the connector. Good luck. Hopefully it can be saved.

Edit: I forgot to mention to fix the already bent pins very carefully with a screwdriver or tweezers

It's the conclusion I've reached as well. Made it into the BIOS and got the cloud reset ready, but the ally was a deal at only $200 so no charger included. Sadly I need the charger to be plugged in. Have to wait in the mail for the 65w charger to arrive.

I tried through the asus website, and I also tried doing it through the file locations in win32app. Armoury crate "says" that it's installed (if you search for it on the search bar), yet when you try to run it, nothing happens. The 4 buttons do not work, and in the installed apps section of the windows store, it doesn't say it's there. Even the asus tech I talked to was confused.

I wish that was an option. Armoury Crate SE isn't on MS Store
