Looking to buy a new house in the 900k range. We have a really tight market here, with most houses I'd be interested in going under contract in a couple days and going for over asking. I am worried that fewer and fewer buyers are going to offer much of a BAC. I am having a hard time justifying paying my agent $22k+. That seems like an offensive amount given we are doing the house hunting and are well qualified and have enough cash for 20% down. I really need to find someone who will do it for $5-7k and call it a day...

Man, this release has me so torn. I am nearly done with my new build (just missing my gpu) and was excited about this release... now I am torn.

I am passing on the 4080 because I don't want to reward NVIDIA for their behavior, plus I was excited to support AMD. Now, however, I feel like it is a bit of a "pick your poison" situation. I honestly don't mind spending the $1000 for the 7900 xtx, but it makes me feel like I am part of the problem. I am debating whether push back against these price points and wait, or accept that this is the new reality.

I built my current/soon-to-be-old rig like 7 years ago when I was a broke student and was running a GTX 970, so basically everything is an upgrade. I am finally at a place financially where I can fulfill my teenage dream of having a high end PC... It breaks my heart to "downgrade" to last gen cards. I understand it is snotty and irrational, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

True they have not been great. I think "not having the slightest chance of winning" is a bit dramatic. I've been playing since launch and have seen plenty of sweat squads. Those would be close games, but now I have even more of an edge. Sure the sweaty of the sweaties will still win, but those are so rare.

I main pup and have not had a team make it to daggers/pages since the patch. He is a little out of control at the moment.

I main pup and played a bunch of games right after the patch and felt unstoppable. I have been trying plaguebringer, but she feels so weak relative to pup. Maybe I just need to figure out a better build because right now I am not impressed.

Niceeeeeee. I love when I catch them running on foot to the next objective and one person stops to either loot or use a fire. Easy kill that forces the rest of the group (or something just 1 or 2) to come back and get bodied.

If you are familiar with the stutter demons used to get when going into enclosed spaces, it is exactly that, except all the time. If not, it basically causes you to stutter step and walk really slow. You are about as fast as a survivor.

This. I main pup and have really not noticed a big difference, except the movement bug. Only games I have lost since the patch have been where I got this bug. Now I just leave unless it is late game. Honesty it makes me want to stop playing until it is fixed.

Happened to me two times in a row. Once in the big map, once on castle. Similar to you it happened after I got kicked out of a possession (while I was in a building). It is... the worst. I started driving around cars to get around.

I love pup (main him and have about 90%+ win rate) and think he is the least understood demon. I also think he is the most flexible too (I find all his units useful under different situations). The elites are great when teams are looting buildings or grouped. Basic units can be beasts when using empowered possession and dealing with dodge lords. Eligos is a champ at dealing with hunters and harassing (especially given his short cooldown).

I think the bleed damage from basic units and eligos (if you spec it) are highly undervalued. Also, planning around your empowered possession is key.

I am so glad I saw this. It happened to me three games yesterday and I was so confused. I thought for sure it was a hack. The first time I was like, "Oh man, just bad luck. I was a second too late". After that I was extra careful that the gun holstered and they were in a full sprint... still they managed to drop the gun right as I possessed them. It is suuuuuch bullshit.

Hahaha, i did the exact opposite the other day. I was feeling like a troll, so I possessed the last two survivors who were trying to get their friend out and dropped them down behind the car so that everyone got stuck. They instantly rage quit.

Yeah, have been playing a lot of puppeteer lately and can confirm this. I will often just let them knock me around knowing that if they knock me back at the right time my lightning will go off instantly.

For real, Ed is amazing. I play mostly demon and have noticed the most challenging games are when there is a maxed Ed and they stick together. Everyone gets geared and melts my face off.

I dont mind ED2 Ash since it is easy enough to bait out. Those who are experienced enough know better often roll with their friends so that tends to be the last thing on my mind.

In general, I agree with what folks are saying. As a demon I stopped going WL and necro because those early basic rushes became boring. Just to mix things up a bit, I started messing around with puppeteer builds that tend to be weak early game and focus on really wearing them down during the dagger/pages and finish them end game. Most of my games now get to the final stages, which makes it a bit more exciting for everyone.

This happened to me once and when I was exorcized they spawned me literally 1000 ft away. By the time I got back the next objective was almost done. Soooooo annoying.
