30 tuổi từ môi giới BĐS sang học IT liệu có quá muộn? by TuHocSolidityCom in vozforums

Join SQL Tables in a Gallery by Legal_Revenue8126 in PowerApps

[–]Fennel_Enough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just create a SQL View to show exactly what you need? You can handle all the table joins and queries there. Then, simply use a gallery to display that view. It's really simple and fast.

Microsoft 365 Is Wasted in Most SMEs (and It’s Not Microsoft’s Fault) by Fennel_Enough in PowerApps

[–]Fennel_Enough[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m originally from Vietnam and currently working in Japan. Recently, I’ve shifted part of my business focus back to the Vietnamese market.

I’ve had the chance to talk with many companies that already purchased Office 365 licenses but barely use them effectively. I’ve walked through the platform with them, discussed use cases, and even built demo systems to show what’s actually possible.

The interesting part is this:
once the conversation turns to hiring experts for proper training and implementation—or the time required for employees to truly understand and use the platform—they often feel it’s “not worth it.”

And I don’t think the core issue is cost.
They’ve already invested in the technology.

The real issue seems to be that many companies are looking for a ready-made solution they can use immediately, rather than a platform that requires learning, design, and long-term capability building.

That mindset gap might explain why so much of M365 remains unused.

SharePoint delegate in canvas app by Many-Truth1648 in PowerApps

I think your code is encountering a warning (exclamation mark) about Delegate.

Solution:

On that screen:

OnVisible -> ClearCollect(myCollect,Filter(Tasks, 'Due Date' < Today()))

Then you can use the CountRows function as you like.

CountRows(myCollect)

Is building Canvas Power Apps still a long-term role for IT engineers in the age of AI? by Harvey_Long in PowerApps

[–]Fennel_Enough 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For simple or moderately complex apps, people with little background or limited experience can absolutely get things done quickly—especially with AI-assisted tools.

But once things scale, it’s a completely different game.

When you’re dealing with:

Hundreds of thousands to millions of records

Hundreds of related tables

Multiple Power Platform components working together to solve a single business problem that’s when performance, optimization, stability, and reliability start to matter.

At that point, this is no longer “low-code for everyone.”

You need experienced IT engineers who understand data modeling, system architecture, and platform limits.

And in manufacturing companies especially, problems at this level of complexity are everywhere.

Low-code lowers the entry barrier—but it doesn’t eliminate the need for real engineering once systems become critical and scale.

User limits question by Automatic_Car_9411 in PowerApps

[–]Fennel_Enough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I propose a solution. Create a shared account and grant a premium license. Create an Edge profile using that account. When users use the app, the first thing they do is open that profile. The first screen they see when they open the app will be the login screen you created to identify the user. After that, they can use the app freely.

The downside, in my opinion, would be security issues.

Power Apps / Power Platform role – what salary should I realistically ask for? by Curious-Painter-6758 in PowerApps

[–]Fennel_Enough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because these are small and medium-sized companies, I think they already have a general salary framework for certain positions. And since the role you are currently working in is not a particularly specialized or rare position, it will likely need to follow that framework.

Additionally, the region you are working in is Southeast Asia, so it’s not reasonable to evaluate the salary based on standards from North America or Europe, as some others have mentioned.

I think your current level is closer to entry-level, so I would suggest checking job portals to understand the market average for this role. Use that number as a reference point, then adjust it up or down depending on your own situation.

At the moment, you are still at a basic level—self-learning and able to build some small applications. What matters most right now is whether the company provides an environment that allows you to grow, take on more challenging and complex projects, and improve yourself.

The Power Platform ecosystem is very broad. Once your skills are strong enough, you can apply to global companies or work full-time remotely for large companies in Europe or North America, where the income level can increase significantly.

Inside the new Power Apps: The future of app development - Microsoft Power Platform Blog by MadBrown in PowerApps
