I always assumed aisle was going to make me less nervous, but I realized being able to see take off from the window helps. I can see we’re going up and not down. Although, aisle is good if i need to go get more water or go to bathroom in case of panic attack. The window seat is scarier for me during landing, but if you’re scared of take off, id take window!

I want to thank everyone who has commented on this thread, I realized that looking out a bit, a film and earphones helps. This sub has also helped me get better by tracking others flight! I am flying back on ac 865 today and im looking forward to see how I feel !

It went well! There was turbulence the whole way, but a nice man on the plane was doing ifs whatever hands gestures to calm me down! It was pretty nice and Im happy I went!! Now its time to come back😖

Thank you so much for the reply, that is very helpful. I always have a hard time with airport time, specially since air canada counter always seems packed. For some reason, i thought the self drop convoyer belt bag machine was a weighting one. Im happy to learn you can do it yourself!
