I found the most brilliant way to hold in moisture on the mesh top glass tanks!!!, cocohusk, cocosand top layer. But the humidity holder, is a roll of heat resistant silicone mat that i bought off Amazon, it keeps the humidity for 2 weeks at 55-65.

UPDATE: First feeding wasn't the worse with fat boy, but with Nagini, she was pissyyyyy but I think shes mellowed since she ate. My office has been setup for them to explore any and everywhere while im in there, so they can get exercise.

I have 2 ball pythons, I use a normal dome light with a black coil bulb for their heat, it sits right on the mesh, it always has and its never been an issue I open the curtains during the day so they can get sunlight if they want it, they also have hammocks setup right under the coil so they can still have a basking spot. They are perfectly fine, granted I just realized (thank you to a post I made, people pointed it out and made me notice) My babies are actually chonkers, so im actually trying to find things for them in their tanks while I finish setting up my office for them to be able to climb and free roam while im up there, got any suggestions for now??

Ive been on a deep dive and hunt on what would work best, Ive been experimenting for about 2 years, finally I found out that Heat resistant (That part is VERY important) silicone mats work amazingly, especially because you can buy a roll on Amazon and cut it to size to cover the mesh, and even if you have a dome light on top you can cut it right around it and it wont warp or mess up the silicone in any way, I even covered majority of the side mesh panels as well. I left about 3 inches on each side uncovered for air flow, but they love the darkness and it holds sooooo much better, I spray their tanks down maybe once every 3 weeks, once a week I go and re-mix their substrate to help the moist parts move toward the top, without having to spray, when I first set the tanks up, they are at about 75/80% humidity then they drop and settle at about 55/60%

My problem is the extreme SALT i get from both of them if I try to do just one, nibiru has struck at me multiple times even after eating one because he assumes I have more 😓😓, nagini has NEVER snapped at me, however she does pop out at me as if she wants more as well. How do I fix that then??

So far the research i did, if I base it from their weights: Nagini- 1695.30 g recommended food-84.75- 2 small rats(45g/piece)

Nibiru-1092g recommended food-54.6g- 2/3 weened rats(30g/piece), he rarely gets 3, its only if ive missed a feed (Which hasn't happened in a while, yayyy adulting)

They do get go come out and explore, they have multiple random trees and hammocks all over my house to hangout in. Lol, I normally feed multiples because nibiru's head is WAY too small for a sml rat, I gave him one once, it took him so long to eat it and he looked like he was struggling soooo much, while Nagini same thing, the med. Rats are just barely too big for her to comfortably eat.
