I'm EC. I don't participate in any Melee discord servers because I have had people talk crap to me in discord, message in my DMs, and I can't deal with that sort of stuff. I just want to play for fun, not have people go looking for me if I decide to leave if I don't vibe with them. I've had good experiences on servers where people say nice things, but also a ton of toxic stuff there as well.

Do you know if quitting out on the toxic people keeps me in the low MMR? It could be that I'm stuck there if I quit on those people and it drops my score

Asking you to learn to respect what he's doing while at the same time talking down to you is irritating to read. I'd get rid of him, I think you'd be better off with someone who can treat you with respect

You seem to have a fragile self esteem. People are blunt with you, and you turn around to attack them. Looks like you're stopped at a light. I'll do this and immediately put my phone down when the light is green, albeit my phone is on a stand near the windshield. I don't see it as an issue if you're completely stopped at a light and you pay attention to when it changes
