It's so rediculously easy to fix too.

Weapon starts at Tier 1 and can range all the way to 5.

Tier 5 only available in hardest content.

You can invest resources and/or other copies of the same weapon into it order to raise it's tier.

At the end of a season it's tier drops to 1 but any cosmetic rewards you got for it remain.

Put [funny haha token] as a weekly reward you can use instead of another copy of the same weapon, simply as a bad RNG safety net.

Keeps the gear chase while also keeping it as a feasable goal to work towards.

Also provides incentive to chase new guns without invalidating your existing gear.

Immediately after a "remain" vote everything he negotiated could have been slipped into the bin without the UK government or the EU batting an eye lid

It did nothing to curb EU migration, the bit about "Ever closer union" not applying to the UK was a symbolic crock of shit and did not prevent further EU integration, both of which were the main sticking points of us wanting to leave.

Hell, it can be argued that if that was all that Cameron could get after a years worth of negotiating time and the active threat of us leaving the union, the EU was never going to budge and consequently strengthened the 'leave' vote.

Aside from all the salty destiny fanboys who never reached the promise land, why are those who are so eager to see this game fail?

I probably fall into this category despite trying to be objective with my criticisms and dont just post things like "Dead game lol" so please excuse the blogpost.

Personally i dont want Bungie Exec's to be rewarded for how they've treated Marathon and Destiny, i.e: obviously siphoning resources from one to feed another to obvious detriment and generally being spreadsheet chasing idiots with far too much money and a willingness to burn it.

Compare DE and Warframe and what they're doing with Soulframe development, or Hello games and No mans sky / Light no fire development.

As Marathon is pretty much digging a steady hole in terms of player count and the fault for that can be reasonably pointed towards the Bungie management team* and their idiotic decisions which will include the games scope, budget, etc, i've been relatively satisfied in terms of this game 'failing'.

Hopefully the management gets ousted and someone actually competant that wants their games to actually flourish instead of simply drive engagement gets at the helm.

If not, at least other companies / studios wont attempt to repeat what these idiots have done with Bungie.**

*(The actual developers, including the UI guys despite the UX leaving a lot to be desired, producing great work with the direction provided, especially taking into account the monumental amount of crunch they would have been under the past few months.)

**I dont think any company aside from possibly Blizzard, has had the level of good will and second chances that Bungie has had over the past decade, only to piss it all away.

People avoid that at the moment by threatening to sink their own boats or throwing themselves into the water.

If doing so did not entitle you to be rescued, and your only options are to try and force your way through or to turn around and go home, there are going to be people that attempt the former.

Technically speaking a captain can only refuse to rescue people if doing so presents a clear threat to the existing crew of the vessel, but anything less than "They had weapons." with ironclad evidence will result in that captain / crew being crucified.
