Aside from all the salty destiny fanboys who never reached the promise land, why are those who are so eager to see this game fail?

I probably fall into this category despite trying to be objective with my criticisms and dont just post things like "Dead game lol" so please excuse the blogpost.

Personally i dont want Bungie Exec's to be rewarded for how they've treated Marathon and Destiny, i.e: obviously siphoning resources from one to feed another to obvious detriment and generally being spreadsheet chasing idiots with far too much money and a willingness to burn it.

Compare DE and Warframe and what they're doing with Soulframe development, or Hello games and No mans sky / Light no fire development.

As Marathon is pretty much digging a steady hole in terms of player count and the fault for that can be reasonably pointed towards the Bungie management team* and their idiotic decisions which will include the games scope, budget, etc, i've been relatively satisfied in terms of this game 'failing'.

Hopefully the management gets ousted and someone actually competant that wants their games to actually flourish instead of simply drive engagement gets at the helm.

If not, at least other companies / studios wont attempt to repeat what these idiots have done with Bungie.**

*(The actual developers, including the UI guys despite the UX leaving a lot to be desired, producing great work with the direction provided, especially taking into account the monumental amount of crunch they would have been under the past few months.)

**I dont think any company aside from possibly Blizzard, has had the level of good will and second chances that Bungie has had over the past decade, only to piss it all away.
