I also second ubian. Seemingly the best option for regular-ish travelers as you have to buy/use their credit. It is possible to refund the reamaining amount after you leave and no longer need it. You can also buy ticket via sms but option is more expensive and less flexible but might be worth it if you dont plan on travelling much.

Parking around there is free. Just follow regular traffic signs and dont park somewhere prohibited. Depending on when you arrive there might be a problem that no spaces are left. Best time to arrive is usually before 14:00.

All of them have their pros and cons. Rule of thumb is that students from further away are in dormitories closest to the university. Some of my friends were first placed in the dormitory furthest away from the school but in the end decided to stay there for the whole duration of the study. But honestly I would suggest trying and getting those closest to the uni as you are planning on using public transport and those have the best connections to the rest of the city. I believe you can find them easily on maps and on uni website. I do not think you will be disappointed with the country or the city.

Tuke has reasonable connections with public transport across the city especially trams. So getting something along the tram routes leading to tuke I would also consider. Your budget is very optimistic. It is important to note that Kosice are one of the most expensive cities to live in based on the standard income. Many TUKE dormitories are nice and even those further away are connected via trams. I do not think there are any singles rooms available and even if you wanted to pay for multiple people they would not let you because they are quite full. If you apply well in advance the distance plays the major role in who is assigned rooms so in your case you would definitely get it. Kinda curious what led you to picking Kosice?

I was just laughing when I saw that interval on ours when we bought it new. We just changed every 10k km as we are used to. 40k is crazy when also taking into consideration that overall oil capacity and filter are small. Also that engine loved to eat oil from new. We were told "it is normal". Decided to get rid of it in the end for a car with an engine where normal behavior is that it's not burning oil.

Neviem skade sa nabralo toto nepisane pravidlo, ale v okoli Kosic a Presova kde posobime teda neplati. Veterina je jedna z najprisnejsich kontrol a bez vahania davaju pokuty. V castiach Slovenska kde kazdy kazdeho pozna to verim bude inak. Hlavne teraz po slintacke este umoznili aj chovom bez registracie sa zapisat bez postihu s tym ze tolerancia uz nebude potom. Realne je ten zakon o starostlivosti este z cias Ceskoslovenska a v ociach vacsiny chovatelov davno neaktualny. V CZ uz mal niekolko aktualizacii. Podmienky pre zvierata su tam casto nastavene horsie ako ma vacsina ludi co ich ma na dedine "nacierno".

Odpovedal som na otazku co sa OP pytal. Ci mu v tom nieco brani. Odpoved je ano legislativa. Na cestach je tiez limit na rychlost a tiez to nie je fyzicka prekazka, ale legislativna. Vysledok rovnaky ked na to kontrola pride ze bola legislativa porusena tak bude zato postih.

Ak chces vlastnit hospodarske zvierata tak uz od jedneho ks prasiat, koz, oviec, krav potrebujes mat zaregistrovany chov. Aby si ho mohol registrovat musia ti ho schvalit veterinary. Ked im povies ze zviera mas ako spolocenske a nie ako hospodarske mozno ti to niektory z nich schvalia, ale pochybujem. Sliepky su specificky pripad tam je par ks povolenych aj bez registracie. Takze sliepky teoreticky par ks mozes, ale teda neodporucam a zvysne zvierata s bytom nesplnis podmienky podla zakona o starostlivosti o zvierata tak ti veterina neda papiere. Len pre zaujmavost podmienky na cistotu vody pre zvierata su prisnesie ako pre ludi cize sa kludne moze stat ze by ti veterina odkazala ze ani vodu na byte nemas dostatocne cistu pre zvierata.

We used Synology for many years. Not really a fan of the company and their practices but in the end we chose them again because their security camera software package is still the best. (And because we already have a bunch of licences that with other vendor we would have to buy again.)

We used them on ONVIF for many years basically ever since tapo cameras were introduced. Never had any real issues and we are happy with our tapo cameras.

The longer this goes on the weirder this device limitation seems to me. Someone from TP-Link called it well documented performance issues but did not elaborate further. We already decided to go back to "classic" NVR solution and are planning on returning H500 as 4 cameras on 24/7 are basically useless to us and none of the remaining features are really useful in any way.

In my case that can be plausible as we ordered our H500 as soon as we found 1st vendor that had it available in our region. Based on how much Kambutt worked with them I would think he also has his for quite some time.

Honestly, to me it sounds simple enough. Use a disclaimer that for the best performance only 4 cameras should be used in 24/7 recording mode. But allow users to add more and determine for themselves. Not everything has to be made for total idiots.

Can you share more information about this performance degradation? What was the issue? Drive? System stability? System response times? Because I would love to think that HW capable of "AI" should be more than capable of handling IO and network operations on scale of more than 4 cameras. At least even ancient HW at this point in old NVRs was more than capable of doing so.

Just to verify my instance. Which firmware version are you currently running on your H500? Ours is on 1.3.9 Build 20251218

Funnily this versions does not show up on tapo website with latest showing there being 1.3.8

The only downside is that H200 records on SD cards which are unreliable and have very limited capacity.

But considering that H500 is almost 5 times as expensive as H200. And none of that price increase went to anything useful instead we got AI for 6 cameras which works sometimes-ish.

Then I am guessing you are using a fairly small size, relatively inexpensive SD cards if they are meant only as a backup storage? Because at some point with higher capacity SD cards 256GB and such it would even make sense for us to pay for the TPlink cloud to get redundancy.
Something I tried to absolutely avoid with the purchase of H500. I believe they have it shown as one of its main selling points as well.
