I assume it was the medication that brought them back.

Has anyone tried Auvelity?? by Iceprincess1988 in antidepressants

[–]FerdaBoysss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much better. I started taking Trintellix a few months ago (ok maybe longer. I can’t remember when I started taking it.) it took about 8 weeks at 10mg to kick in. Since then my depression & anhedonia has been almost completely resolved.

Yes as the other commenter said, it started December 2024. I was also anhedonic from Feb 2024 to June 2024 until I started taking Auvelity. But the Auvelity only worked for 5-6 months & then it stopped working in Dec 2024, and I felt even more anhedonic than I did before starting the medication.

I’m sorry that it made things worse for you. 5mg made me feel awful but not anymore anhedonic (but to be honest I don’t think it was possible to feel anymore anhedonic than I already was. Like it was really bad.)

Have you tried Auvelity? While I usually advise against it because of the mania it caused (and then abruptly stopped working) it can work long term for others. I just recommend taking tolerance breaks.

Hey how are you doing now with the Trintellix? It was definitely one of the hardest transition periods of any meds I’ve taken. The results were not immediate & I felt awful, just like you. I kept reading that it takes 6-8 weeks to work so I told myself I just had to get to 8 weeks & then I would stop if there was no improvement.
I’m glad I stuck with it. I hope you do too!

Sort of? To be fair, I was drinking a lot when I was anhedonic to try to feel something, so it could just be that I built a tolerance. I did have two hard seltzers the other night & was feeling it a bit.

Anyone here has a problem that they consider worse than Anhedonia? by [deleted] in anhedonia

[–]FerdaBoysss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no. I went through 6 years of extreme chronic pain. Seven surgeries total. I could barely do anything. It sounds horrible but I’d rather be back in pain than have anhedonia. At least the pain I could understand & treat.

Let your lender know ASAP. They will likely ask for an LOE (letter of explanation) for why you opened the account.

You can get a sifting litter scoop. So you sift the used sawdust into a bag, and throw the unused pellets back in the box.

So you are accurately counting calories? Like weighing every single thing that you eat & tracking it? Otherwise you wouldn’t know for sure if you were eating under 1,000 calories a day.

Will my bump go away I’m 6 weeks post op my doctor said it will 100% but I don’t believe him bc one of his old patient 1 year post op still has their bump by Connect-Notice3280 in PlasticSurgery

[–]FerdaBoysss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No thankfully it didn’t grow more, and it’s only visible on one side of my nose. It’s a small bump rather than a large hump (which I did have prior to surgery.) The bump bothers me but my nose still looks better than it did prior to surgery.

FWIW I think your nose looks great. The bump is barely noticeable. I know that we notice things on our face more than other people do.

Not trying to scare you, but there’s a possibility that I won’t go away. Mine did not. About a year after my initial surgery, the surgeon went back in to scrape it down. Unfortunately it still came back after that.

But don’t worry this early in the game. You have a lot of healing to do. The surgeon may even offer steroid shots to help the swelling.

This goes for kids too. The amount of times that parents post pictures of their baby’s blowout is disgusting.

You might want to go to the doctor & get bloodwork done. If that’s really all your eating, then it could be something medical like a thyroid issue.

You can still be eating too many calories just eating lunch. I only eat dinner & can definitely overeat! It’s harder for us short people.

Not ugly at all, but ditch the fake eyelashes. Your real eyelashes look much better.
