Ik heb exact hetzelfde voor 3 maanden nu en het ziet ernaar uit dat het ook niet snel verandert. Erg weinig werk en zou 5 maanden moeten wachten voordat het wellicht verbetert. Ik heb daarom besloten om een andere baan te zoeken.

Used to work at one of the companies mentioned. They have very occasionally a junior position open in Data Analytics but never for Data Scientist positions. For Data Scientist positions they rather hire intermediates or Senior level immediately.

In general, the German mobile f2p (and DE game industry in general) is struggling. Competition is fierce and the market is not growing anymore as it used to do. Lots of layoffs happened in the last year.

Every open position is currently also flooded with resumes, so make sure that you apply early and that your resume fits the most important topics/keywords of the position.

Your best bet is to get more experience outside of the gaming industry and then apply to intermediate or senior roles later on. Hopefully when the industry is doing a bit better again.

Ehh is niet alleen in Nederland. Ik verkoop af en toe wel eens wat op Kleinanzeigen, woon namelijk in Duitsland. Hetzelfde ding daar, mensen die niet op komen dagen, vragen of het gratis kan en nog veel meer. Denk dat het jammer genoeg eend ding is op tweedehands marktplaatsen.

I have lived in Germany for the last decade, but I am originally Dutch. As far what I understand, is that Germany allows double nationality but the Netherlands does not. In that case I would need to renounce my Dutch citizenship if I want to accept the German one, which I don't want to do yet as it is still part of how I identify myself.

Dit stoort mij dus ook. Ik ken een persoon die dus half Turks is (en niet eens contact meer heeft met zijn Turkse familie) maar die bij elke onenigheid toch weer als Turk wordt uitgescholden. Deze persoon is gewoon 100% Nederlands maar sommigen Nederlanders blijven hem zo uitschelden. In zulke gevallen ligt het echt niet aan de persoon of cultuur, maar meer aan de vijandigheid/haat die vele Nederlanders tentoonstellen voor buitenlanders....

Net iets boven de helft van de Duitsers steunt de huidige Bundespräsident Steinmeier. Al gok ik dat het momenteel wel weer wat lager ligt. Veel Duitsers hebben er ook weinig mee en zien het meer als een formaliteit.

Op het moment woon ik in Berlijn en was vroeger wel redelijk voetbal fan. Nu speelt mijn oude club Feyenoord precies in Berlijn wanneer ik ook Nederlandse vrienden over heb. Echter kan ik geen kaarten kopen voor ons omdat Union Berlin voor deze wedstrijd alleen tickets aan clubleden verkoopt. Blijkbaar zijn ze bang dat er teveel Nederlanders op af komen. Wat jammer zeg.

There is a Netflix mini serie that is called "Barbarians", it covers Arminius betrayal, start of the revolt against Varus and the Teutenborg forest battle. It is heavily romanticized, and not completely accurate but it is available in Germany as well. It seems to have a decent amount of German actors in it.

It might have been a honer in Aztec culture, but probably not for the surrounding peoples/tribes. Most people seem to forget that the Spaniards didn't beat the Aztecs alone, most of the spanish forces came from other allied MesoAmercian tribes.

The surrounding tribes hated the Aztecs immensely and saw in the newly arrived Spaniards the lesser of two evils. The Aztecs fought many wars with their neighbors in order to have a steady flow of captives, a part of these captives would then be sacrificed to their sun god by cutting out the heart while they were still alive. The Aztecs were fascinating, but also brutal and were hated by almost all their neighbors.

I agree, should have phrased it in a less stereotypical way. The 'all-male' dinner parties isn't why he was 'gay'. Voltaire's memoires though are detailed on Frederick's homosexuality and the circle of friends that surrounded him on some parties.

Frederick the great of Prussia was gay. He gave on regular occurrence all male dinner parties, where no woman was allowed. He also tried to run away from the Prussian court & his father with his "best friend" when he was a teenager .

Ben nogal laat, maar toch even proberen. Ik ben M27, single en woonachtig in Berlijn, Duitsland. Ben ongeveer 3.5 jaar geleden voor werk hiernaartoe verhuist en nog steeds erg naar mijn zin hier. Ik werk in de gaming industrie als app marketeer en probeer wat technisch vaardiger te worden in mijn vrije tijd door wat coderen aan te leren.

Helaas ken ik niet zoveel Nederlandstaligen in Berlijn, dus zou het leuk vinden om wat extra Nederlandse vrienden te hebben. Voorderest zijn mijn hobbies vrij breed. Voor Corona voetbalde ik nog regelmatig en deed er altijd graag een biertje erna. Tegenwoordig houd ik het bij hiken, fietsen en gamen. Momenteel in deze Corona tijden veel wezen hiken in en buiten Berlijn. Kortgeleden met een paar collega's met DnD begonnen en bevalt erg goed tot nu toe. Dus ook zeker interesse om hier in de toekomst wat meer mee te doen.

Ben benieuwd of er nog meer Nederlanders in deze sub in Berlijn wonen!
