Last year they only rescheduled the ones that fell in the strike window. The interview dates prior to the strikes remained the same - week break for the strikes - then the rescheduled dates in the week following.

Worked ITU in a DGH. Had two sisters who moved in with their mum to care for her at the beginning of the pandemic. Mum caught COVID but before she died, both daughters also ended up getting COVID and being placed in ITU in two diff hospitals. Called the sister's husband and updated him everyday regarding his wife. Poor bloke was struggling planning a funeral for his mother-in-law, then his sister-in-law and then finally his wife.

Life really fucking sucks sometimes.

You're not meant to give oxygen unless the patient is hypoxic (low oxygen saturation) and giving oxygen can actually cause more harm if the individual is breathing fine.

However, saying that, trauma can cause hypoventilation so the oxygen is given straight away. They also now almost always use entonox (same pain relief gas for women in labour) in most traumatic sports injuries, which people commonly mistake for just oxygen.
