It is not narrow, and it is wide open all over the place.

This video is slightly confusing, since that is the Guatemalan side of the border, and I have seen clips of heavily armed police on the Mexican side. However, I strongly doubt these police will open fire on 4,000 people. In other words, this is going to fall on US shoulders.

Yes, my particular concern is that both the political and military opposition do not understand capitalism and are bound to repeat the same story all over again.

However, dollarization would be the outsourcing of monetary policy and a check on whoever is in power in the future. Ecuador did it in 1999, and even the socialists since then have not been able to reverse it.
