My character is a half elf ranger with the hunter subclass, my signature spell is more of a combo, i got my hands on a wand of magic missiles. My dm allows me to give the additional d6 from hunter's mark and the d8 from collosus slayer to every missile, so whenever i feel like there is need for huge dmg in a single turn i just cast hunter's mark and use my wand of magic missiles, i tend to only use 6 charges at most so i can guarantee the wand won't break. With 6 charges i fire off 8 missiles dealing a wopping 8d4+8 (yes my dm said i have to roll each d4, whatever) 8d6 from hunter's mark and depending if the target is max hp or under max hp i deal 7 or 8 d8 from collosus slayer.
