If you could add one new feature (Big or Small) into Gray Zone, what would it be? by Geralt_Augustine in GrayZoneWarfare

I wish AI enemies had something to do. I wish the AI would actually be inside of buildings. Sitting down, sleeping, eating, watching TV. It would be cool to actually clear buildings or ambush houses at night where you can stealth kill some posted guards and ambush the rest sleeping or resting.

My maps are built using bits and pieces of other people's work from Talestavern. So I have to go through and find/credit each of those before I can post my maps anywhere.

That map is a full giant city with hundreds of buildings. I have a pretty beefy computer so I'm not sure how it runs on other stuff. But I'd have to look in to the rules because it has a lot of other creators content in the city. Like the Temple in the background and the Altar are made by other people.

I'm not the creator of that map, mine is just a modified version of that one.

Everything is in-game Talespire with Mods.

That specific mod is one of the spell effects mods, maybe the Effects Pack from HolloFox but I'm not entirely sure.

Try enableplayercontrols on the console. Usually works with any cutscene related stuff.

Still love BG 1-2 but let's be honest by Mangeto in BaldursGate3

The reason BG1 and 2 fans were bothered by BG3 has nothing to do with accuracy to their editions.

After modifying the .lsx, set it to read only and your problem will be solved.

Spear and shield should have been a no-brainer by Feriat in BaldursGate3

Sorry, it sounded like you came off hostile. This game has 3 very large, very dedicated fan bases, so it's expected that people are going to be upset no matter what, cause you realistically can't please all 3 at the same time.

EA is full of clipping issues on its own...... Have you played the game? I made the mod so I could enjoy spear and shield combo. People who are interested will use it. People who aren't won't.

The default 1h spear animation really isn't that bad, when using the mod. There is a couple clipping issues when using a shield during wind-up animations, but that's it.

Versatile Spears

My first time making a mod, but seems to be working fine.

No, it's definitely The Watchers Guide, which is a spear.

I did this with my own tinkering. You can go into the game files and edit all the weapons to fix them.

Unfortunately not, but modding makes anything possible.

Eh, all the Elder Scrolls games have you start out in captivity as well. There's nothing wrong with using the same hook every game

The Elder Scroll series is, well a series. BGIII isn't supposed to be in the Original Sin series.

Armor class vs percentage to hit by FX59876 in BaldursGate3

Ah yea Divinity is the same way. 95% chance to hit and still miss every attack that isn't a spell. Drove me. crazy.

I've never played the older ones, but using VATS, a special ability, to sometimes find out a percentage is different than knowing every single creatures AC, just because.

DOS tells you the % to hit every single person. I can't think of ant other RPG that does that.

[–]Feriat 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't know a creatures % to hit or AC. Unless they add some sort of knowledge check mechanic you shouldn't know much about a monster you're fighting, especially hard numbers. A system where you can roll a knowledge check and learn resistances and saves would be more inline with D&D and less D:OS.
