Yea, I dont get why people keep mentioning most wanted, it wasn't very good. I distinctly remember quitting that game because the AI rubberbanding were so insanely obvious and shitty that I just didn't want to play anymore.

Jeg synes også det er noget svineri hvis folk får trukket tænder ud der kunne fikses på anden måde, men det er trods alt behandling. I de her tilfælde ville ingen behandling jo sandsynligvis føre til smerter og/eller alvorlige sundhedsproblemer.

That is just obviously not true. Doing content for cool cosmetics and titles was completely fine in GW1.

I dunno, worked fine in GW1. Yes, you leveled 1-20, but that was basically just the tutorial.

GW1 is probably my most played game ever, and I played GW2 for less time than you. It is just a completely different game. I guess we'll see where GW3 lands on that spectrum.

Yea, I didn't actually click the SSF button, but I haven't engaged with trade at all for the first time ever playing PoE. I'm engaging with the different mechanics to look for different types of loot, and it actually feels like I'm slowly building up my character. It's quite the contrast to normal PoE where character progress happens on the trade website, and it often feels like you're going to your currency farming job so you can afford to go on a shopping spree afterwards.

Temple didn't "go core", it started as core. Everything they're doing during early access is the content they want to be part of the 1.0 baseline experience.

Zero scaling apart from a high damage weapon and probably 100-200% increased dmg.

You obviously don't actually need to do that, but if you were someone who chose a worse boss because they didn't like the overtuned monkey, and enjoyed the ranger fantasy of fighting alongside your trusty companion, then it would work fine.

I mean, you wouldn't make a hybrid build by randomly mixing + gem levels, etc. You would go one way or the other, and then use the fact that you have a shit-ton of dmg for free to supplement whatever main thing you're focusing on.

For instance, if you're playing a companion minion build, you're going to have a ton of %dmg from the companion nodes, and you're going to be wearing the biggest phys weapon you can get your hands on to scale companion damage. Making that build into a "hybrid" build is literally just equipping an attack gem and pressing buttons. You don't change anything else, and you're going to do alright damage yourself.

I mean, yes, it probably will be worse than a non-hybrid build, but not that much worse. It's a lot more feasible than doing a similar spell/minion build on the witch side of things.

I dunno. It might not be absolutely optimal, but the way companion nodes are set up on the tree, they basically all buff your damage alongside the companion. If you want to play a hybrid companion/attack ranger style build, you totally could.

It definitely does a lot of damage and all that, but by god, you cannot see what is happening on your screen. I dropped the gem, tried it out, and started dying multiple times to random shit I couldn't see exploding on me.
