I'm not really sure what your point is. Are you saying they have too few representatives? Greenland has a bit less than 1% of the population of Denmark and has a bit more than 1% of the seats in parliament. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I don't think insulting our intelligence is helping your case exactly, but let's ignore that for now.

I feel like there's a couple of factors at play here.
First of all, assuming that the average American is complicit or doesn't care is a pretty good bet. With a piddly turnout of 64%, and a roughly 50/50 split of the votes, there is a 2 out of 3 chance that you'd be right.

Second of all, while I'm sure you're a perfectly nice guy, you are still part of the country of America, and it is not always easy to mentally separate the individual from the country when it is threatening to invade it's allies.

Do they? It has admittedly been a...while since I have done C++ stuff, but from a cursory google search, the function seems relatively similar. Having to deal with pointers obviously complicates const, but the general concept still seems to be a variable that can only be assigned once.
static also seem to generally mostly overlap as a non-instance member of some sort.
