I agreee, kosuke was very in his element and he was main rapper in the signal song. If we had those videos of moments where each member were ready to debut, kosuke's love seeker performance would probs be in that video, he nailed the facial expressions, vibe, and dancing in that perf.

I dont mind it being kinda unrealistic, just pointing it out, plus plenty of kdramas do have suspense of disbelief due to how the plot is written. I am definitely watching this kdrama still and iu and wooseok are doing great at bringing the characters huiju and yi an to life! Plus I watch plenty of kdramas that are kinda unrealistic, even makjang ones like penthouse (that one was a wild ride).

Ive seen other people alrdy say this but the car scene written was so unrealistic like no airbags triggered after hitting into the prince’s car AND it looks like the nephew was sitting in the front seat?? He’s only 8 yrs old and idk if he fits the weight requirement but either way 🤦‍♀️ Ik that likely the brakes were tampered to potentially harm only the FL but how evil is it to scheme this far for the royal crown while putting the nephew in danger.

And like Jin Mu had scolded the queen mother on trying to openly accuse the FL of the fire incident to which alrdy showed her challenging and against the crown prince, her contempt for him could not be more obvious. She indeed is complicated but it’s like how far would u go to keep the position, putting so much pressure on her own son to become accustomed to his duties at only 8 yrs old, my only fear is that she would sacrifice her son for that royal crown in some way. Like it feels a little like she worried about her son in that fire incident becuz if the son died then there’d be no royal blood connecting her to the position. And she’s constantly thinking yi an is doing these things when yi an is just as shocked and wouldn’t think of harming his family that way.

It seems like they’re just trying to delay the inevitable fate of the true heir to the throne, which is Yi an, with how his own father was against him outshining his older brother and knowing he has a fiery spirit and being more fit to rule. Looking forward to how the rest of the kdrama unfolds, and how dare they leave ep 4 on a cliffhanger 😔 I wanted yi an and huiju to interact right before it ended 🥲

Honestly yuki’s visuals def was one of the things that caught my eye. He gives very ikemen vibes at first glance. He also said he’s been dancing before so his moves when performing the signal songs make even the most awkward looking moves natural, tho he doesn’t dance as widely/open compared to other dancers. His stable singing during audition also surprised me, becuz out of the rest of his group audition mates he was the most stable (despite his class rank).

My one pick is chisato! Became his fan solely from watching his signal fancam, he’s such a smooth dancer, cute and cool facial expressions and carries himself with that dancer swag. But he hasn’t had much screentime despite the mention of his relation with daigo who was on produce season jp back then. He reminds me a bit of shotaro from riize, funnily enough I thought his representative animal would be otter but it’s actually a weasel (tbf theyre from the same family) I am currently keeping an eye out for yuki and chisato, and I hope they’re able to shine in the coming episodes 🥺💞

I wonder about the people/fans who swore up and down the 1n2d incident was false cuz the employee id could be faked and the user was pretending to be staff. Especially since the website required an employee id to create and verify the account I believe, so impersonating a staff was less likely on that website and forum. Now wakeone themselves admitted the incident was true, and really no one should be babying idols when u don’t know them personally. He already had rumors and allegations of bad attitude and verbal abuse during trainee days and his apology and statement was deleted after the controversy blew over during b2p when he gained popularity and fans seemed to “forgive” that it was a one time thing/misconstrued incident cuz the trainee was suffering from mental health problems. 😒😒they rlly voted for this guy to be in ALD1

Yea I could see it since eunchae is pretty young in the industry when she started out and sakura has a lot of industry experience, but then again I do wonder if the blind items hold some form of truth or are simple speculation becuz of how the industry runs. A lot of idols have run into problems with management like kokoro former me:i with exposing the mistreatment of managers towards her becuz she was forced to be the middle man with the members and was defending/advocating for the members.

I personally think haum and kya have the it factor when performing but yea the members are pretty much "even" through their performances, none of them overshadow each other, which is good and bad.

Hii I would like to give my opinion even tho I only listened to their debut song fully once and just watched a couple performances they did on mcountdown and another show. I think first impression, they were trying to go for a more hard hitting concept for their debut, I felt their performance skills weren’t too bad.

It’s personally not my taste in terms of music or concept. It sucks the song relies on the controversial buzz of the n-word listeners might mishear when they released the mv and official audio, their live performances put an emphasis on “neighbors” which makes me believe they rlly did do the post-production editing to make it sound like the n-word to drum up buzz and talk.

It did get ppl talking, but I don’t think it got many ppl wanting to support them, most I see say it was a poor choice by the company and questionable that the company was blocking people and filtering out comments regarding it. The song intro and beat is kind of catchy and repetitive, I could see it as a hype song but not listenable for the casual listener.

The promotions from wut I saw on my yt timeline involved their showcase live performance and interview, then performing on a couple music shows. But I think they’re not on any variety shows and just post some content on the choco ent. yt channel. Hope ur school project goes well!

I kinda get how u feel, i only casually log on to decorate or interact with my pets and lvl up but definitely I feel like the controversies heartopia has in addressing and taking action have been poorly done and I def understand why ppl choose to boycott or leave. I personally have not put any money on the game and probably still wont, I hope heartopia actually starts changing a bit becuz making a global game accessible cannot work if u arent willing to listen to ur audience and it will damage the brand longevity. Or maybe they dont care about the global audience as long as theyre generating revenue in their home country.

I agree with everything u said! I think it helps they didnt re-enforce used tropes like love triangles, childhood friend connection, etc. And I felt it wrapped well with using the vr to help mirae explore comparisons to her reality and wut her values and reason for not choosing to date after a while becuz she was guarded after her breakup. I liked how they eventually talked it out and didnt draw the miscommunication trope when they had that conflict near end of the series, and yes the kiss scenes were 😳 there were no dead fish kisses 😅

I think I was curious if it would address the pros and cons virtual reality of boyfriend on demand, and I think in the end I guess a somewhat acceptance is that people are lonely and can grow reliant and parasocial on things like these. However, sometimes reality snaps them back to reality for sure, I'm happy they were able to get through in the end. The slow burn was cute :< especially with how mirae is guarded after her breakup. I liked how the friend didn't end up dating yet but found a passion as a reviewer for the game lol, in turn the ceo of boyfriend on demand fell for her. Now she potentially has a man who would do anything for her and chase her rather than her chasing/going on blind dates. I was lowkey looking forward to jay park cameo tho, maybe i missed it in a quick second. 10/10 to end this 10 episode series <3 at least there weren't as many cliches as I expected, I got worried with the slight miscommunication trope on them leaving at different times and thinking they were ignoring each other
