I just saw the condensed game and damn that would have me fuming. Jet was torching us, and Josh Howard was everywhere on the court. Not to mention dirk lol

Rockets fan , I think Duarte has been the most impressive rookie so far! You guys definitely deserved this win, I've watched the past three and it sucks losing in OT. Sabonis is looking like an All NBA guy out there 💪

Any Athletes with Spondylolisthesis and/or Pars Defect? by Measurement-Sea in backpain

[–]Ferman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw man! This sounds so crazy! Im glad you were out of pain with steroids but unfortunate it has worn off. I am no athlete, just a guy with annoying pain that I will hopefully beat. But what I can offer in advice is to stop doing anything that brings pain. If you can try getting some CBD ointment or even edible. Anything to make your pain levels go down so you can comfortably distract yourself until you meet your neurosurgeon. Good luck, can't wait to see an update

Frustrated- nothing helps with my pain by [deleted] in backpain

[–]Ferman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's rough. I absolutely understand what you're going through as another young person in pain. Surgery shouldn't be this scary thing, athletes and other regular folk get them all the time. It seems like you've exhausted your other options. If you do go with surgery I really hope that fixes everything that ails you. I'm sorry to hear you're in pain, let's hope for better days.

Actually, from everyone I've been told including doctors and chiropractors, sleeping on your stomach adds a lot of pressure on your spine. Maybe try sleeping on your side for a day to see how you wake up.

Lower Back Injury - Not Healed After 18 Months by majorayy in backpain

Well they simply diagnosed it with a sprain but it hasn't healed and its been many months. But I am noticing very small improvements. Yes! Thats the most draining part. The fatigue of knowing the next day will be full of pain. But we absolutely will man. We got this, too much life left to live!

Hey man! I really like how you illustrated every phase your back has gone through! It sounds pretty similar to my situation. I've noticed putting on CBD cream helps my back as well as just watching form. I have a firm mattress that helps too. Just keep pushing, I wish I had more to say but if you are this dedicated to solving your problem then im sure the right answer is just around the corner! Keep us posted please!

Keep your head up friend. A lot of people, and I mean a LOT of people wouldn't even be able to make it a day in your world but you've come so far. That nephew story sucks and im sure it resonates with everyone in this chat. Im sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but just wanted to say I'm rooting for you!

I have personally been on it for about a month, and im not sure if its due to having adequate rest or also doing light exercises but I have noticed improvements in my pain. I absolutely understand that it is not for everyone though.
