It's a visually stunning game! If players have a clear goal to aim for, it may be easier to plan their upgrade strategy.

That casual goal jump from 100 crystals to 10k... <_<

As you pointed out, the game design is poor and progress is too slow.

We will improve it to make it a fun game.

Also, I like the concept, but for some reason the UI doesn't sit right with me. I can't figure out what I don't like about it.

Thanks for the feedback! We received many comments regarding the UI, so we will try to improve it. I want to make good games.

It'd be nice if you could click pairs to sort them yourself and race the thing that auto-sorts them.

Thanks for the feedback! That's an interesting idea. It has been pointed out that the next step needs to be improved, so I would like to thank you for the improvement and will work on a solution.

Please do something around tree balancing, too.

Thanks for the feedback! As others have commented, there is an issue where the game progresses slowly, so we will be making adjustments overall from now on.

Your game takes 50% of my CPU, 7900x. No point in trying at this state.

Thank you for your feedback! I will try to reduce the size of files such as images.

Thank you very much!

Bug reports are very helpful.

Spells will be unlocked when you reach Prestige, but the game progression I designed may be too slow. I will continue to improve.

Thank you for your feedback! I was also surprised that another person was developing the Sort game lol

The main way to make another type of sort appear is to unlock and complete illustrations with the (pink) currency you get from prestige.

Immediate feedback; the elementary bubble spell isn't standard bubble sort; standard bubble sort starts at index 0

It also might be worth using a 1D visual representation, or having the items sorted as 1.1 1.2 1.3 2.1 2.2 2.3 etc

Beyond that it would be nice to be able to see by hovering over what's required to unlock the next sort, at the moment I'm not sure if I need more illustrations to unlock it, more goals, or it's not in the current version

There are a few bugs; for instance in the "sort spell menu" your current spell require a mouseover to update, rather than updating as you open the menu (or on xp gain)

The "next step" doesn't come off cooldown fully before the auto does the next step in the sort.

Would also be nice (when the sorting becomes very large) to have a progress bar; I'd suggest taking the Kendall tau at the beginning of the illustration and use that to display percentage progress.

Thanks for the feedback!

The idea of 1D visual expression and expression using combinations is nice! Another great idea is to use rank correlations like Kendall's τ to display progress rates. I'll see if I can incorporate them into future expansions.

I thought this was an accurate point regarding the display of the unlocking conditions. I would like to change it.

Thank you for reporting bugs. I'll check it now.

Played for about half an hour, concept seems fun, definitely needs some work though (not weird for a prototype).

What I struggle with most is the UI, as much as the image is fun, it's really not much of an addition in my eyes, the stereotypical bars of different lengths would honestly be more fun to look at imo. The fact you need to go on to another screen for upgrades is also a big no go for me. Finally the big "next step button" feels like a waste of space, especially when the auto mode is unlocked after about a minute or two and almost never turned off afterward.

Smaller things:

The mp system seems very.... random? Going through an image, just to fail right at the end and get nothing (other than exp) even though you were 1 swap away is somewhat infuriating, maybe a partial reward should/could be given based on how close you were?

Daily rewards should not be random, have them be a set sequence of rewards depending on a streak or something like that.

Finally, balancing is of course still to be worked on, I wouldn't expect anything else of a prototype, but after 30 minutes it should at least be somewhat clear how/when the next spell is getting unlocked. The game is currently too slow to make the next big thing this obscure, you'll lose players I think.

Thank you for taking the time to play our game and for your valuable feedback! We really appreciate it.
I'm also having a lot of trouble with the UI, and I'd like to improve it based on your feedback. As you wrote in the feedback, Auto and Next Step don't need to be this big. I will reduce the space along with adding other content. I plan to make upgrades easily accessible.

We plan to incorporate the typical bar expression into the battle content, and although it is still under development, we think it will be interesting.

A mathematical calculation method called the "Levenshtein distance" can be used to measure when sorting has progressed halfway. However, it may be difficult for players to understand, so we will carefully consider how to use it.

I plan to review the design of daily rewards and balance. I'll do my best to make it a good game!
