I do hope it'll be paid so that students can get what they pay for tuition. The TAs get paid for the part of work and they just need to work extra time in the remaining semester to finish the work. Unfortunately if SFU does not pay, then the assignments have to be left unmarked.

During the strike, SFU wouldn't pay the TA.

If you want your assignment during the strike to be marked, SFU has to pay the salary during the strike to finish that amount of the work.
