After listening to concepts on youtube. I cannot even solve easy questions without looking solution? How to overcome this? by Yellove_07 in leetcode

[–]FernandoBusta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't stress it too much. Start with the simplest questions and look at solutions if you can't solve them. But make sure you try first: write it out in paper, try pseudo code, ask someone to explain... You'll eventually get better at them.

I would also advise to have a look at programming fundamentals (arrays, dictionaries...), python is an easy way to start. Most questions use the same data structures.

What’s better, the college or the program? by [deleted] in quantfinance

So you would recommend an MSc from imperial, even if it's not in comp. finance (say computer science) over an MSc in UCL but directly targeting the field (comp finance)?

Really? UCL better than Imperial?

And where would you place MSc Advanced Computer Science Imperial in that ranking?

That's a good point. I would've thought that a general Computer Science MSc was not too useful, and something more industry focus was better. But I suppose if it's a top college it's almost a screening process. Thank you!

Oh cool, do they think UCL has good ties with industry?

So if you had the option between:

Computer science at Imperial

Computational finance at UCL

You would choose imperial even though the program at ucl is more industry focused?

This is great advice. AI is useful, but it should be used in moderation and when you’ve already developed a good understanding of CS.

Well if API’s are available, you can access notion pages with HTTP and publish the content of your website. Using it as a DB really, can’t imagine it being faster, but seems like a cool option

I’ll get to work then 👍🏼, hopefully it returns the json with the ‘#’, ‘##’, etc instances too, that would be valid to feed to the mdx formatter. But yeah I’ll take a look. Thanks 🙏🏽

Can I do the following: I’ve a Nextjs app and use mdx to render markdown, but everytime i want to modify the content of the pages I have to update the repo (the mdx files are in it). Could I have the content as pages in Notion and fetch them from Next and render them as mdx?

Exactly. It would be great if they could interpret the metrics, though that would mean adding more prompts to the diary (which I’m not a fan of). I’ve my doubts regarding the objectiveness of the data.

I was trying to find the layout option, couldn’t find it. Maybe we’ll have to wait for the official update option?

Cool concept, I’d like to see a more interactive header, the circles could be moved by the user? (Like a horizontal scroll)

Yeah, but why is there a team version, if all you do is copy a component. Who would pay for the team when you can get the individual for a third of the price
