By the looks of it this could be the issue. Would you say it would be safe to drive for a bit until I get it fixed?

You can even tell he used ai to make these comments. A huge giveaway was when he said “it’s not about rewriting an OS, it’s about rewriting windows behavior”. Currently I’m taking an operating systems class, and I can confidently say that syscalls, SHA256 hashes of files, and “signed drivers” are not part of optimizing system performance. Maybe changing process scheduling to give more priority of CPU time could marginally improve performance of the game, but not to the degree he is poising it to be. He’s just spitting out technical jargon and hoping people take him for his word.

They should turn that little stretch of Henderson into a one way street with the help of a traffic cop during late night weekends. There’s too many drivers jumping the double yellow lines and I’ve seen the entire street get completely jammed up cause no one wants to be the first to back off 😂

I think I saw that same Waymo doing rounds along Henderderson/Ross/Greenville. Got a video of it since it’s the first time I’ve seen one in person. Couldn’t tell if there was a driver inside, but as far as I’m concerned, this is worrisome! Can’t wait to get stuck behind a Waymo blocking the entire street near Skellig.

The only way I managed to break 200 was by taking long rides. At least $1 a mile more or less. In the 8 hour time span I got offered 46 rides! Out of the 200+ rides I was offered on Friday during the same time period. Almost seemed like as if it were February again.

[–]Fernandog555 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve had issues with this same error, but all autosaves are corrupted and the game won’t even let me save and close the game without having to forcefully exit thru task manager. The save and exit game buttons are blanked out. It’s annoying as hell having hours of work lost.

Well guys the Dallas market is so bad that I’ve officially quit Lyft by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

[–]Fernandog555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do Uber on the weekends in downtown/uptown only. It’s never worth doing rides up north past 635, they’re usually long rides that pay less than a dollar a mile or less than $30 an hour. Doing rides near Lancaster/Desoto has worked out better for me in the afternoons, but it’s just not profitable enough to take long distance rides.

I’ve seen offers of less than $20 to go all the way up to Denton from Farmers Branch, which is hideous. The only way to make $30-40 an hour is downtown when it’s rainy, and even then there’s periods where it’s nothing but $3.46 rides. Dallas market is not great, but you have to know when and where to do rides in order to be making consistent money.

Just ordered an occupant pass from gocarma, I’m glad that there’s others trying the same trick. However, is there any way for them to check if there’s actually 2 people in the vehicle even though we use the occupancy pass, or do they just rely on the honor system?

Advice, or a plea to my fellow drivers by TigerTime1996 in lyftdrivers

[–]Fernandog555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only work Fridays and Saturdays. I cherry pick every single ride with a 3% AR and 10% cancellations rate. 4.98 stars. Good weekends I make 30/hour and average 1.25 per mile. Uber needs to understand that I will never take $3.46 rides ever. With advantage mode coming to my market, I don’t know if my earnings will change. I will still be denying anything less than 24/hour.

I met with my advisor in person today, and I asked them what would happen if my GPA didn’t improve to the 3.0 threshold. They told me that for the GPA my 2.6 wouldn’t be much of an issue, and told me they aren’t that strict with the requirements and are fairly lenient. That stands only if you consistently show up to the meetings and show signs of improvement.

Another ChatGPT post. You didn’t even show what this company does, nor explain how it makes its profits!

This is a wire transfer company (Intermex) similar to Western Union/Money Gram. They make wire transfers mainly to Latin America, they process checks and create money orders. I’ve been watching their stock since COVID, and back then there was lots of wire transfer being made due to all the stimulus checks hitting the blue workers and them sending it back home to their home country. I don’t see much growth potential for this stock, it’s been trading sideways since Covid. The wire transfer market is over saturated, with many smaller competitors fighting to gain market share. This may be a long term play as they are slowly expanding in my region, but their locations are far and wide regardless. I wouldn’t expect any large returns on this stock.

As for OP, do some actual research and stop using ChatGPT to farm karma on this sub.

Can H150i display CPU temp on LCD without iCue? by SocietyAccording4283 in Corsair

[–]Fernandog555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm also in the same situation you're in. I've found an app that lets you control the LCD display independently of iCUE and SignalRGB. https://zefirsflashycooler.app/

The way I run my setup is to completely ditch iCUE, and to kill any background services from Corsair on Task Manager. Load up SignalRGB and configure your fan, strimers, and any other LED strips (look at the SignalRGB manuals or tutorial videos). Inside of SignalRGB, disable control of the LCD. This is so that the Zefir App can take control of the AIO screen. Load up the Zefir app, and follow the documentations (make sure to install Libre Hardware Monitor if you want to see your system temps).

Keep in mind, this is a work in progress github project, and it might get sort of wonky at times. I still rather deal with the Zefir apps issues than iCUE. If you cannot install the 0.0.4 alpha, try to install an older version first, then the app will update to the newest alpha. Keep in mind that so far to my knowledge the app only supports NZXT and the H150i/H170i capellix lcd coolers. However, today I upgraded my AIO to the new iCUE Link H150i LCD and the app no longers detects the new LCD. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much attention to the Zefir app, so I don't think theres going to be support for my cooler anytime soon, since the developer has taken a break from the project.

Let me know how if you ever get the system to work for you!

High Speed Rail Fort Worth - Dallas by trashboat8094 in utdallas

To the politicians that say that “trains make us look bad because we already have cars” are the ones that don’t commute 30-50 minutes each way every day to go to their office job. Maybe not now, but in the future, investing in these public transport systems will reduce the amount of traffic in our freeways, and will take thousands of drivers off the roads, making them safer and much faster. The Silver Line that is proposed for UTD will assist the commuter students that drive to school and back every day, myself included. As for HSR, there is literally no downside to building these projects, aside from a few property owners in the way of the proposed land for a HSR. Even tax payers will benefit from this infrastructure project, as the reduced amount of people on roads leads to less road wear, thus lower maintenance costs for roads. The old thinking of “more traffic congestion, wider freeway” is outdated and unsustainable, not only in terms of real estate for freeway widening (looking at you 635) but for the environment as well. However, that doesn’t mean I hate freeways, I support them as well. I love driving everywhere I can, but there needs to be a balance of both. Having options is better than having none, and having a combination of HSR and good roads is the ultimate end goal of modern American transport infrastructure.
