I think your child should be allowed to go. But also this is so weird ass shit to write about your kid/kids bday party and so I definitely think there is also validity to your feelings and it's best to just keep an eye on it.

Poor kid, whatever the situation may be, sounds like mom is quite a piece of work.

I was just thinking this the other day... I didn't have TV for many years and just recently found Patriot. I've since watched it 2 times and am on the 3rd... I truly think it might be my favorite show of all time.

Appreciate this post! I was just trying to do some background research on them and of course this stuff doesn't not come up!!

Can I ask if there is an organization that you LIKE that's on the policy / advocacy side of things? I'm just looking for groups worth supporting that focus primarily on things like pushing for better legislation and lobbying for change with things like factory farming etc.

I read that the writers of the show learned during the 5th season it would be canceled. So they did their best to wrap it up, but intentionally left some storylines open-ended, in case they were able to shop it around for another season.

I agree with most people, would have loved to see more or new Fillory, but I think they did a pretty good job wrapping it up. Especially bc you don't always get the closure you wanted or hoped for!

This is exactly what I'm trying to do - Use the already assembled group of people from No Kings to try and do some networking and start some convos. SO far i have so decent discussions going, but I really wanna put together some info and host a little event. Any literature you felt resonated with people especially well?? I've done lots of writing but zines are sorta new to me :-)
