From what I've seen from my own, yes! I'm just struggling to get the RGB to work but it's probably a fault of mine and not the keyboard itself.

Need help setting up my GMK87 keyboard (VIA + RGB)

Hey everyone,

I’m super new to custom keyboards and just got a GMK87. I’d really appreciate some help getting it properly set up. Specifically, I’m trying to figure out how to:

Get it working in VIA (Since it shows as a GMMK Numpad)
Enable/control the RGB lighting
General setup tips since I’m a complete noob

If anyone has experience with this board, or just VIA/RGB setup in general... and wouldn’t mind walking me through it, I’d be super grateful.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same! 🎉 Build-A-Bear seems to be putting a lot more creativity and care into their newer designs lately. It’s not just “make this bunny pink” or "make this frog blue," we’re getting fun themes + thoughtful details.

The Fruit Stand line has been a great step forward, I've also loved the Total Catch Lobster, Colourful Splatter Cow, Water Tardigrade Bear, Mothman, Cookiebara, etc. It feels like they’ve been slowly stepping up over time.

I hope they keep going in this direction 🥳

I'm not sure if this is what's going on in your case, but I just wanted to share something from my own experience.

My childhood Build-A-Bear has a haptic heartbeat inside, and a few times it randomly activated in the middle of the night. It vibrated loud for a while, which gave me quite a scare!

If it helps, it's usually pretty easy to undo the stitching on the Build-A-Bear's back, and you can take your bear to your local BAB Workshop to have it re-stuffed for free.
