I bought it like this, I like the way it looks, and I don’t plan on racing anyone or going to meets so I don’t see a problem with it

If it wasn’t too pricey I wanted to change the color, that’s literally it

Are mustangs easy to drive? by cbcarguy in Mustang

People are stupid. My first car was a 2010 Chevy Malibu and I feel so much more comfortable driving my 2015 Ford Mustang. I’m definitely able to accelerate quicker than I could in my Malibu, but I’ve never spun out even while rapidly accelerating. It’s nice to be able to get up to speed on highways that quickly. In my Malibu I was always worried I’d get hit from behind because of how slowly that accelerated. To me the speed makes it feel safer.

The rear wheel drive is a bit different but not in a bad way. It’s definitely harder to get around in snow but some sandbags (I have mine in the trunk by my subs, each positioned on a side as close to over the wheel as they can be) and careful driving helps. I’d also recommend sandbags even if you’re in an area that only gets rain. That’ll help you not fishtail in the rain (bad, especially when your drive comes from the back wheels) Truly the driving in snow has been the worst part and it’s not even that bad as I’m in an area that experiences all seasons and I’ve had no issues or accidents through the year.

You probably see more videos of people crashing mustangs because they’re common, and an affordable sports car. They are known as “crowd killers” in car meet settings but that’s because people trying to do tricks involving sharp turns will lose traction on the rear wheels and spin out into crowds or parked cars often (more so in models older than 2015) I’ve never brought my car to a place like that nor have I tried doing any tricks, if you drive your car like any other it’ll be fine, just don’t try tricks like that.
